Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Arsenal have been told how much they would have to splash for Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi.

Over the last few seasons – Arteta has got this Arsenal side from challenging for a top six side into challenging for that Premier League title – and they still have a chance to win the thing.

However – despite all the focus on the Premier League right now – there is still alot of speculation surrounding the players that Arteta will look to sign during the summer, especially now that they will be back in the Champions League.

That has led to some rumours in the media which have claimed that ARSENAL and Tottenham are both ready to battle it out for the signature of Guehi – who has been impressing at Palace this season.

And adding a new defender to the squad is high up on things to do in the transfer window as Mikel Arteta knows that he needs back up for star pairing Gabriel and William Saliba.

According to The Telegraph, Palace would demand at least £65million with Guehi’s contract up in 2026.

And reporter Iomie Stanley thinks that signing Guehi would be a wise move for the north London clubs, he told icfootballnews:‘Marc Guehi would be a great signing for Arsenal

‘He’s been knocking on the door of the top clubs for a few seasons now. He’s English, he’s young with good technical ability on the ball and he’s quick so he’s a modern centre back.

‘He’s decent enough in the air to cope and he’s got a great attitude. He’s a good character around the dressing room and is ready for that next step in his career.’

KEIRA WALSH TO SIGN –

Barcelona and Arsenal are negotiating the financial terms of a transfer for Keira Walsh.

Walsh joined Barca from City in 2022 in what was then a world-record fee for a women’s player, and has won back-to-back Champions League and Liga F titles with the club since then.

Walsh is out of contract in Catalonia next, and reportedly wants to return to England – with Arsenal now said to be close to a deal to bring her to the capital.

Despite the fact that Walsh is happy in Barcelona and in the team, she has always wanted to return to her country and Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall is very happy to bring her back to the WSL.

It has come as a shock to see that Walsh will be leaving Barcelona this summer as she seemingly does not want to leave the Spanish giants – it is probably coming down to the terms of her contract.

Walsh has performed well – she has added a few goals to the side and has won a few trophies – but Arsenal wont be complaining as the midfielder is one of the best in the Womens game.

Eidevall knows that he needs to add some quality to that Arsenal side this transfer window in order to get that title of Chelsea – and will be hoping that this deal is wrapped up soon so the club are able to move for their other targets.

The ARSENAL boss likes to get his transfer business done early so he has time to work with his new players – so we are sure that an announcement will be coming very soon.

ISAK MESSAGE SENT –

Ex-Arsenal star Theo Walcott believes Newcastle United’s Isak could be the ideal summer signings for the Gunners.

Isak had an incredible season for the Toon this campaign and notched 24 goals for the club – but his performances has led to alot of speculation in the media that ARSENAL are interested in a potential deal.

It has been suggested on many occasions that Newcastle will not be keen on selling the big striker – but despite all that – there is still talk that the Gunners board will make an offer to try and get the Swedish star all signed up.

However, The Telegraph reports that Newcastle are not contemplating selling Isak this summer, with Eddie Howe considering the Sweden international as a focal part of his future plans.

But Sky Bet have Arsenal at odds of 5/1 to sign the Newcastle striker, with PSG (16/1) and Manchester United (25/1). as a fee of over £100million has been suggested

And amid the speculation – Walcott has recently admitted that Isak, or Ollie Watkins, would be a very good signing for Mikel Arteta: ‘Arsenal did great, they competed throughout the whole season and learnt a lot from previous mistakes,’ Walcott told The Sun.

‘I think what Mikel Arteta has done and the atmosphere at Arsenal is incredible. What we are missing is a striker, and to have that balance on the bench.

‘I’d say that’s the one thing, maybe Mikel didn’t trust his bench as much.

‘I’m looking at someone like an Alexander Isak or an Ollie Watkins who’s been established in the Premier League.

‘We may look abroad but I’m a big believer in someone who is proven in the Premier League.’

There has been alot said about the future of Isak and where he could end up this transfer window – but he is certainly a player that would improve that Gunners midfield.

If ARSENAL wants him – they will get him – it is that simple.
