Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed today –

There has been some claims which suggest that ARSENAL have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona wonderkid Ansu Fati

A hot prospect that made his senior debut for Barca in August 2019, is another product of the famed La Masia academy system that is tipped to go on and become one of the best attackers in world football

Fati has fully established himself as a first-team member of the squad – despite the fact he has been plagued by injuries since bursting onto the scene at the Camp Nou

ARSENAL. are always on the lookout for the next big thing and are very much interested in signing Fati should he fail to agree a new contract – or get the game time that he wants under Xavi

Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes recently revealed what the immediate plans for his client is – The Spaniard said: “I haven’t spoken to him about his future.

“We don’t know the fair play situation. When we know, we’ll plan the arrivals and departures.”

Now – according to The Independent, intermediaries are already exploring whether a move to the Emirates Stadium would be possible for Fati.

However, despite the player’s sparkling reputation, Arsenal are yet to confirm to his representatives that the interest is reciprocated.

If he does leaves Barcelona in the next transfer window it will be very interesting to see just where he ends up because there will be more than ARSENAL. interested in a potential deal.

But we would say that he needs to stay away from the Premier League – it is not the right place for him to develop his game and he probably should stay put.

So if he does leave the club – the French League or German League would be the place for him – right now.

ARSENAL OFFERED FATI –

ARSENAL Women’s star Rafaelle Souza will depart the club when her deal expires at the end of the season.

She has made 35 appearances for the Gunners and netted a memorable goal versus Spurs at the Emirates in front of a record crowd.

However – the decision has now been made to let her depart the club during the summer window months – as thet club look to freshen up the side over the next few weeks.

The defender has penned an emotional farewell letter to Arsenal, saying: “It’s been a lovely 18 months here with Arsenal, but I feel like I’m at that point in my career where I’m 31-years-old and I need to start thinking about my next career.

“I need to think about my future. Arsenal have given me everything, but for personal reasons I need something different in my life now.

“I’m so incredibly proud to say that I’ve been able to represent this historic club.

“I’m sad that my journey with Arsenal ends here, but I’m leaving with nothing but special memories and pride over what we’ve been able to achieve together.

“I got a feeling of a truly professional and classy club and at this point I couldn’t have asked for anything more.”

NEYMAR CLAIM MADE –

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar would ‘love’ playing for ARSENAL, according to Emmanuel Petit.

Neymar has been a player that has been heavily linked with a stunning move to the Premier League – with reports suggesting that he is a player that Chelsea and Man United would like to add to his side.

PSG attempted to sell Neymar last summer but were unable to find a buyer for the Brazil international, who also wanted to stay at the French club.

However, ESPN reports that Neymar has changed his stance ahead of the summer window and is now keen on a move away from PSG, and there is talk that a move to the Premier League is on the cards

Neymar has scored 118 goals in 173 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain since signing from Barcelona in 2017. And The 31-year-old has bagged four Ligue 1 titles in the French capital but Petit believes it would be in the best interest of the player and PSG to cut ties this summer.

‘I think Neymar will suit any big club,’ Petit told Genting Casino. ‘If he comes to Arsenal, I would love it and I think he will too.

‘I think he will enjoy the technical football and the style of Arsenal. He would love to play with younger players as he is quite mature himself.

‘He will also have revenge on his mind with everything that he has been going through at PSG, and the tears he shed at the World Cup.

‘I think he will be happy to move to ARSENAL if that is the case. He can play on the left and the right, and because of his ankle injuries he can be a player in rotation.

‘If he goes to Man Utd, I will be very happy for them and the Premier League.

‘They have Rashford and Sancho who can man both wings, but also have the skills to rotate so Neymar can easily fit into that cycle.’
