12-goal star announces ‘he is loving life’ at Chelsea since transfer move!

Cole Palmer has said he is ‘loving life’ at Chelsea and has praised Mauricio Pochettino for letting him ‘express himself’ on the pitch.

The 21-year-old completed a surprise £40m transfer from the Etihad Stadium to Stamford Bridge on Deadline Day last summer after CHELSEA made a surprise offer to get a transfer deal done.

Palmer has proved one of the signings of the season, instantly becoming a key player for Mauricio Pochettino and contributing 12cgoals and 10 assists for the Premier League giants this season.

‘I’ve definitely improved as a player coming here,’ the summer signing from Manchester City said of his time at Chelsea.

‘I just felt [in the summer] like I was ready to play football week in, week out and that’s what I’m doing here at Chelsea.

‘The manager has definitely helped me, he’s a top manager and a top person. He speaks to you about anything, like family issues. I think if he knows what’s going on off the pitch, it can affect how he is with you on the pitch. He’s really great at that.

‘He’s given me the freedom to play my stuff and I like it when he frees you because I feel I can express myself on the pitch more.

‘I’m loving it. Every day he’s talking to you about different things, not just football things but just life generally as well. He’s great at making you feel good and he’s always trying to get the best out of you.’

I think that everybody was surprised to see that Palmer made the decision to leave Man City and join Chelsea – but it seems to be the right decision from the lad to make as he is really impressing.

Many CHELSEA fans had their doubts that he would be worth the money – but as we just said – he is really impressing in that Blues shirt and fully deserves all the praise that he has been getting.
