£150k-a-week star backed to complete Chelsea move – perfect move to make!
Ex-England star Paul Robinson has tipped Aaron Ramsdale to join Chelsea or this summer, and it could be a great move for the player according to reporter Iomie Stanley.
Ramsdale is seemingly done at the Emirates this coming transfer window after falling behind David Raya in the pecking order at the Emirates – and there has been alot of speculation about where he could end up in the coming months.
It is no secret Chelsea are keen to add a new stopper to the squad as Enzo Maresca feels that is an area of the pitch that needs to be improved on and it has been claimed that they are ready to pay big in order to acquire Ramsdale.
Now – amid all the speculation and rumours – Robinson has opened up and backed Ramsdale for a move to Chelsea or Liverpool, who are also in the market for a new goalkeeper: ‘I don’t think Aaron Ramsdale will move abroad, I think there’s a move for him in the Premier League,’ Robinson told Football Insider.
‘The one that stands out is CHELSEA. Petrovic and Sanchez don’t seem to be at the level you want. That’s where Chelsea are at.
Stanley told icfootballnews: ‘Aaron Ramsdale has got to go somewhere and he’s got to play. He’s been harshly treated at Arsenal. I think the way Arteta handled the situation was wrong.’
‘Ramsdale is a top stopper that does not need to be on the bench and if he does decide to make the move across London – he will be hated by Arsenal fans – but will get the game time he needs a CHELSEA.
This could be a great move for all involved in this potential deal as it would give the Blues the quality stopper they wants and Ramsdale the number one spot that he desires.
