Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…
There has been some fresh reports which have claimed that CHELSEA have made moves to sign Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak, who has constantly been linked with a move away from the Toon ever since the summer window.
CHELSEA were interested in signing another striker to provide cover and competition for Nicolas Jackson and continue to be linked with Victor Osimhen, but a deal for the Nigerian never happened during the summer window and he made the move to Turkish football.
Alexander Isak has a similar price tag of £115 million and despite the fact that Newcastle have no intention of letting their star man leave, there is still alot of speculation about where he could end up in the coming windows.
Now TEAMtalk has linked the Blues with Newcastle striker Alexander Isak and stated that they have ‘made enquiries’ to land the Swedish international next year. It is speculated that the Magpies could be prepared to cash-in on the former Real Sociedad marksman, but only for the right price.
Reporter Iomie Stanley has recently urged the big man to join a big club like Chelsea, he told icfootballnews: ‘He has these super top qualities that big clubs might look for.
‘He seems so humble and down to earth, and it feels like he just wants to work hard and play football.
‘I really hope he can take the next step. Newcastle is a good club. There is nothing wrong with that, But at some point he needs to go to Arsenal, CHELSEA or Man City where he can pour in goals. That’s what his agent must be hoping for,.’
‘That massive price tag will be an issues, but Newcastle will not want to keep a player at the club that does not want to be there.’
‘But we are sure that a move away will not happen until at least the summer, and there are many options that Chelsea could switch their attentions too.’
CHELSEA DE JONG CHANCE
It has been claimed that Barcelona have offered midfielder Frenkie De Jong to the likes of Chelsea in order to get rid in the upcoming transfer window.
CHELSEA have had a busier few transfer windows than many people expected, with a number of stars departing the club over the last few windows, and a number of players making their ways to Stamford Bridge.
There was also speculation in the media that a number of world class Barcelona stars were also players that Chelsea were interested in signing, but were unable to get any deals done as they wanted to stay at the Camp Nou.
However – The Catalan club continue to find themselves in a financial mess as they are still operating above the La Liga-imposed annual spending limit.
And according to a recent report on Sport, the club is ready to sacrifice an important piece of the jigsaw. The decision will be taken by the board, who will look to sell among players who have had the least minutes.
According to Fichajes, in Spain state that Barcelona are desperate to sell Frenkie de Jong and have thus offered him to multiple clubs including CHELSEA and Manchester United as they seek to get £40 million for the midfielder.

CHELSEA have been signing some players over the last few windows and adding players to the side that have been making a real difference to the side. If there is a chance to sign De Jong – they should take it.
He is a world class player that could be the ideal signing for the club – as he still has many years left in the game and has still not hit his prime.
If the reports are true and Chelsea can get him for £40 million – he could be a great signing for the Blues that is for sure.
FERGUSON EYES MOVE
During the summer transfer window, there was alot of transfer speculation that Chelsea could make a move to try and acquire the services of Ferguson, who is rated as one of the best young forwards in the Premier League.
There was talk that a £150 million valuation was set on the young mans shoulders, but in the end, the option to stay at Brighton was took as clubs did not want to pay silly money in order to get the young man all signed up.

Look, all the transfer talk that suggested Ferguson is going to the very top has clearly got into his head, he has been unable to make the kind of impact this season that he would have liked.
A move away from the club in January would certainly improve his game time, but he needs to make the right career choices as he could be a quality Premier League striker.
He certainly does not want to spend the next few seasons out on loan and needs to make a permanent move away from the club if he does not get the game time he wants, it will not change unless he is scoring 20 goals a season.
CHELSEA may be interesting in the lad, but if he does make the move to Stamford Bridge, he would struggle for more game time there than he is at Brighton.
