Here is a roundup of the top Manchester United news, gossip and transfer speculation from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed…

Former Red Devils star Louis Saha has opened up and encouraged new Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim to splash his cash and bring Fulham full-back Antonee Robinson to the club when the transfer window opens up.

Louis Saha told Complete Sports: “Antonee Robinson could help transform Manchester United’s team because he is not just great at creating chances and getting forward but he is also a leader.

‘Usually captains are in the middle of the pitch but he has captained Fulham from left-back this season and he brings so much enthusiasm.

‘At United, Diogo Dalot likes to get forward but it’s not as balanced on the other side, Robinson could bring that consistency and potentially solve a problem that Amorim has.

‘I left United because I was always injured so I do feel for Luke Shaw, he is a top player who wants to help his team-mates on the pitch, he has love for the club.

‘But Robinson is the type of player that can bring balance to a team and be such a threat, it would be interesting to see him in the wing-back position.”

COLE PALMER CLAIM MADE

CHELSEA have been warned why Cole Palmer joining Manchester United “would make sense” by former Red Devils striker Louis Saha, as the current Blues superstar grew up being a fan of the Red Devils.

Since making the decision to leave Manchester City and make the move to Chelsea just a few seasons ago, Cole Palmer has developed into one of the most dangerous players in the Premier League, and one of the best.

His performances for Chelsea over the past few seasons now means that he is the man at Stamford Bridge, mainly down to the fact that he already has over 50 goal contributions for the Blues since his arrival from City.

However – in a shock statement from Saha, Chelsea have been warned why Cole Palmer joining Manchester United “would make sense”  as the Blues current superstar is a massive fan of the Red Devils – Speaking to Complete SportsSaha said: “Palmer to Manchester United would one day make sense because he grew up being a fan of the club, but there is only one club I can see him going to after Chelsea.

‘I can see him being on a trajectory to Real Madrid and I don’t think the move would phase him, he never doubts himself or thinks about things for too long.

He wants to enjoy his game and he’s having fun. I’m very jealous of Chelsea because he is a huge star and I think he’d be a big success if he went to Spain.”

Cole Palmer is tied down to a massive contract at Chelsea so he is not going anyywhere anytime soon, but unless Manchester United get back to challenging for the big titles, that move will not happen.

If he does leave CHELSEA it will probably be for that move abroad, there are some big clubs eyeing up a move for the attacker.

UNITED TOLD SIGN CUNHA

Former Red Devils star Louis Saha has opened up and encouraged new Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim to splash his cash and bring Wolves star Mathias Cunha to the club when the January transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time.

Amorim has come to Old Trafford with a big reputation as being one of the best young managers in the games, and many United fans are hoping that he has the ability to turn things around for the club this season.

However – despite all the hype around his arrival, he has been unable to get the results that many were hoping for and that is down to the fact he has a number of players in the squad that do not suit the style he likes to play, and that is causing a real concern and alot of speculation.

Cunha has been in brilliant form this season for Wolves and there has been alot of speculation that the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool are interested in a move, but the former United striker Saha thinks Matheus Cunha of Wolves would be a good signing for United.

Saha told Complete Sports: “Matheus Cunha could help take Manchester United to the next level, he is a great player and is so powerful for his size. There are not many players like him in the league.

‘I think he’d be very complementarity alongside Bruno Fernandes in front of United’s midfield, the club already has stamina with Manuel Ugarte but Cunha has the legs and the power that might not be there already.

‘Cunha can dribble the ball through midfield and press the opposition, he is an unpredictable player and that’s what Ruben Amorim needs in his system, someone who can exploit the weaknesses of the opposition.

‘United have too many predictable players at the moment, which is why they should look at bringing in a player who has qualities like Cunha.”
