19-goal in 19-games striker tells Newcastle he wants Prem move

NEWCASTLE UNITED transfer target Gift Orban has admitted that he is open to making a move to the Premier League

Newcastle have had a season that nobody predicted at the beginning of the campaign and have got themselves into the top four – and that coveted Champions League spot.

There will be alot of transfer business happening in the coming transfer window – and adding a new striker to the side is something that Eddie Howe will be to get done, and Orban is now on the shopping list.

The 20-year-old Gent forward has scored 19 times in 19 games so far this season in all competitions, despite having only move to Belgian football in January.

Orban is said to be happy to continue his development at Gent but in an interview with Het Laatste Nieuws, he indicated his desire to test himself in the Premier League.

Speaking to Sporza about his craziest football dream, Orban said: “Playing in a big league.

“At a club where I feel comfortable AND where I play. The Premier League is my ultimate dream. Manchester United, Liverpool or Manchester City (laughs).

“I don’t really like ARSENAL that much – it’s like they don’t want to win titles.

“They play and sell players – that’s it. I want to go somewhere where they win prizes.

“At Real Madrid they don’t have time for tiki-taka there, they just grab titles.”

Newcastle back in the Champions League is massive for the club and honestly – they fully deserve it.

Eddie Howe now needs to sign players that will help keep them at a top level and help the club push on – Orban is talented – but he is not that.

The Toon will be linked with so many players in the summer – they will need to make sure the right players are signed.
