£200k-a-week star open to Chelsea move – Frenchman interested in move – Boehly told target will be superstar
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed –
Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard has backed Chelsea transfer target Jude Bellingham to become a superstar of the game
Ever since his move to Borussia Dortmund just a few seasons ago – Bellingham has devloped into classy midfielder and a man that Chelsea are keen to try and sign – if you believe all the reports.
It has been claimed that he will not come cheap though – as the likes of Chelsea will have to splash close to £130 million to try and get a deal done.
That will be money well spent if Gerrard’s opinion is anything to go by, with the former England midfielder a ‘massive fan’ of Bellingham and expecting him to be a ‘superstar’ over the next decade.
‘I think for the viewers watching this World Cup, there’s a massive opportunity to enjoy a massive pool of players from different countries,’ the Liverpool legend told Sky Sports.
‘I’ve competed against a lot of these players, your Messi’s and Ronaldo’s of this world. They’ll be the two big names with a lot of focus, but the tournament’s going to be littered with high class players.
‘I’ll be focusing my attention on England, I’m really excited to watch Jude Bellingham, I’m a massive fan of him.
“I think the next 10 or 15 years, he’s going to become an England superstar.
‘There’s a lot of Premier League players out at the World Cup and they’ll be hoping they’re on the right side of a successful tournament.’

Bellingham is developing so nicely at Dortmund – that many are hoping that he stays put as moving too early could ruin his career.
If Chelsea really want to sign the lad – they will and quite honestly – a move to London could suit him nicely
Rabiot would be interested –
Juventus star Adrien Rabiot would be interested in a move to Chelsea – IcFootballnews’s Iomie Stanley has claimed
The Frenchman has really struggled for game time this season at Juventus and he wants more guaranteed football at this stage of his career as he is not getting any younger
Despite being one of the most gifted central midfielders in the game – Rabiot has never really adapted to Italian football like many had hoped – and Juventus are also keen to make sure that they get his massive £7M a season wages off the books
He is out of contract at the end of the season – and with Graham Potter keen to add some more quality to his side – there has been some rumours that a move by the Blueswill be made
And according to Stanley – the Frenchman would be very much interested in a move to Chelsea
What has he said?
‘Chelsea made some massive signings in the summer that are taking some time to settle in – but the squad is really impressive.
‘But they have a squad that needs to add some depth to the side – so even though the move to Italy has not worked out for Rabiot – he is still a classy player.
‘It is no secret that he has a desire to play in the Premier League – so a move to Stamford Bridge would be one that he is truly interested in – we believe – as it would give him a fresh start in the game.’

A fresh start in the Premier League may reignite his love for the game
Depay interested in move –
Dutch midfielder Memphis Depay is reportedly open to joining Chelsea in the coming transfer windows.
Barcelona was in shambles after Lionel Messi left the club, as they were depended heavily on him for goals and as soon as the player left the club, there was a void and a lack of goals.
Dutchman Memphis Depay was brought in to fill in the space left behind by the Argentine, but he was not consistent enough in front of the goal and injuries have also messed up his time with the club.
Add the fact that the club signed Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window – and Depay has seen his minutes on the pitch drop dramatically – which has led to more speculation that he could leave in the coming transfer window
After rejecting Chelsea last summer the Dutch forward is now open to move to Chelsea thanks to their participation in Champions League, according to reports from AS (via Sport Witness).
And the report also adds that Barcelona are willing to let him leave for the right money – as they are keen to revamp their squad

Depay was signed by the Spanish giants who believed that he had the ability to score goals on a regular basis for the club – they were wrong. Man United signed in in belief that he would score goals for the club – they were wrong
So, if Chelsea believes that the possible signing of Depay will help them score more goals and close the gap on both Liverpool and Man City – they are wrong
Depay is a player that does well in the French League or the Dutch League but when he makes that step up to the Premier League or Spanish League – he cannot cope
