£300k-A-Week Star Arsenal Wants To Sign Backed For ‘TOP’ Transfer Move
Pundit and former Blues star Joe Cole has tipped on-loan Galatasaray striker Victor to make the move to the Premier League, where the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and ARSENAL have all been linked with a potential transfer deal.
During the summer transfer window, there was a hell of alot of transfer speculation that the likes of Arsenal were working hard to try and get Osimhen all signed up, that he was a player the club really wanted to sign after he revealed he wanted out of Napoli.
ARSENAL were one of the many clubs interested in Osimhen in the summer window, but the Gunners did not want to pay his massive asking price and in the end, the Blues missed out on getting the big Nigerian star and he eventually made his way to Galatasaray.
Osimhen reminded his former and current suitors of his goalscoring prowess on Thursday night, finding the net against Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Europa League, although he missed alot of chances to add to his two goals against the Premier League side.
Joe Cole thought it was the wrong move for the 25-year-old to make the move to Turkey in the summer, who dropped his agent Roberto Calenda at the end of a turbulent transfer window, but has backed the Nigerian star for a potential move to the Premier League.
“I blame his agent,” said Cole on TNT. “For a lad that was the best player in Italy, there have been so many big clubs calling out for strikers banging in goals. “He put himself in a situation where it was untenable for him to stay at Napoli but they couldn’t get the price they wanted for him
“He shouldn’t be at Galatasaray. He should be at a top, top club in Europe but he’s there. He’s got to score goals, bang them in and find his way, hopefully to the Premier League.
“I think he’s a real talent. I don’t know. There must be something missing where the big clubs have looked at him and gone, I’m not sure.”
