£34m STAR tells Chelsea he wants move – Blues free to sign £100M man – Frenchman tells Boehly he wants to sign up with Chelsea

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today –

CHELSEA star Kalidou Koulibaly reportedly wants to leave the club amid interest from Juventus.

The defender signed for Blues in a £34million deal last summer after years of speculation and rumours about where he would be playing next.

He has made 31 appearances for Chelsea, but has not looked anything like the dominant force he was over in the Italian League with Napoli – and is unhappy and wants to leave, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report also claims Juventus are leading the race to sign the centre-back. The Serie A giants are believed to want Koulibaly on loan in a deal that would not include an option to make the switch permanent.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri reportedly called Koulibaly to discuss a potential move this summer.

CHELSEA beat off alot of big clubs in order to sign Koulibaly – and they would be quite foolish to let him go as he really is one of the best central defenders in the world guys.

He may not of had the best of seasons this year – but it usually takes alot of time before big players get settled – and with all the big issues going off field for the club – we cannot blame him.

The new boss will want to keep hold of Koulibaly – so the reports that he wants to leave are quite crazy – once he gets back into the side and playing well – he will show the club just why he is so in-demand.

But saying that – we would not be totally shocked to see him leave the club in the summer.

KANTE WANTS TO STAY –

N’Golo Kanté wants to stay at Chelsea beyond this summer, according to the latest reports in the media

Now we all know that Kante is one of the best holding midfielders in the world and has been brilliant for Chelsea ever since you moved from Leicester City a few years ago.

His contract with the Blues runs out at the end of the season and there has been alot of speculation about his current situation at Stamford Bridge – and there has been a number of links with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain – Manchester United – Real Madrid Barcelona and even Arsenal

Chelsea do not want to lose him – that has been claimed in the media on many occasions and They have offered him a contract worth about £290,000 a week. But according to reports he had rejected the terms as the length of the contract is not what he desires, and he is currently considering his future at the club.

However – according to the Football Insider – Kante is hoping to stay at the club beyond the summer – and would not like to leave the club

The reports claim that Kante is happy to stay at Chelsea despite their likely lack of European football in the 2023-24 campaign.

Any club would be lucky to have Kante – it’s Kante!

When you have guys like this – so humble and professional – you have to have leaders like this in the dressing room and he is certainly a leader on the pitch.

He is a man that should be at CHELSEA and the fans will surely be delighted to hear that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge rather than leave.

And we are pretty sure that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino would like him to stay at the club too.

RICE BOOST –

David Moyes admits West Ham are planning for life after CHELSEA linked Declan Rice

Over the past few seasons – Declan Rice has developed into one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and a man that could go on to become one of the best in the world.

But so far the Hammers have not allowed him to leave – despite all the speculation and all the rumours that he is ready to depart – as they are hoping that he snubs a move to Arsenal or CHELSEA.

But their manager Moyes, who has often remained quiet on the matter, has now admitted that the club are preparing for his departure though he is naturally very keen to hold on to his star player.

Moyes was asked in his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday night’s clash against Liverpool whether next season’s planning included a with and without Rice scenario, with the 60-year-old replying: ‘Yeah, obviously he is such an important player.

‘He would be missed by any club, so any club who didn’t have him would miss him and we certainly would, partly because he is a big part.

‘But my hope somewhere is that Dec thinks this is the best place for him to be and if somebody doesn’t come up with the right amount of money, it will continue to be the place he is as well.

‘The club have made that pretty plain, but I hope we can continue to get the best out of Dec.’

Rice is ready to make that move to a big club – he is ready to play Champions League football. But he will need to make sure he joins a side that needs him or he will have to get used to sitting on the bench.

But it will be interesting to see where he goes after West Ham and if he can adapt to new surroundings.
