£50M star told to force move – West Ham handed £80M transfer boost – Hammers free to sign 18-goal star

Here is a roundup of the top West Ham news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today –

It has been claimed in the media that CHELSEA are ready to let Callum Hudson-Odoi and Conor Gallagher leave the club at the end of the season, which could alert the likes of WEST HAM.

Since the arrival of the new owners at Chelsea – the club have spent a staggering £600 million on players that they believe will improve the squad – and now well over 30 players to choose from.

However – it is widely expected that a new of stars will leave the club at the end of the season – with rumours that there will be some more big players signed when a new boss is appointed.

But now it seems that Ted Boehly has made the decision that the talented Hudson Odoi and Conor Gallagher are no longer needed at the club, and is ready to allow them to depart Stamford Bridge.

According to GiveMeSport journalist Dean Jones, Boehly is preparing for a clearout of the squad in the summer. This clearout is likely to include winger Callum Hudson-Odoi and Conor Gallagher.

“Bayer Leverkusen currently have Hudson-Odoi on loan and there is a strong chance he will be available for transfer at the end of this season,” Jones said.

“Behind Hudson-Odoi there is a feeling local boy Gallagher is the next player from the list most likely to feel in danger – yet sources are also indicating he would be unlikely to want a move abroad. If he becomes available he would probably seek a London transfer.”

Hudson-Odoi was hailed as the next big thing in football – but has not hit the heights that many had hoped for, so we are sure that a stay in the Bundesliga is on the cards.

Gallagher has been given lots of chances to shine this season – but simply cannot find the form that made him such a force at Crystal Palace – there will be a few clubs interested in the man if the reports are true.

But a move away from the club could reignite their careers just like it has for so many stars in the past.

BOWEN TOLD TO MAKE MOVE –

Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted West Ham star Jarrod Bowen should force through a move to Newcastle United.

After splashing the cash during the last summer transfer window – big things were expected of the Hammers this season as many believed they would once again challenge for Europe.

However – that has not been the case for David Moyes side and they have really struggled to keep clean-sheets and score goals on a regular basis – and that is why they have found themselves in a relegation battle that noone expected.

A recent report from Football Insider has claimed that Jarrod Bowen is one player that could end up leaving the club at the end of the season

According to the website, West Ham are “expecting” that they will receive offers for Jarrod Bowen in the summer.

Now – amid all the speculation and the rumours – Agbonlahor has encouraged the Hammers winger to force through a move to Newcastle if they manage to secure Champions League football.

Agbonlahor told Football Insider’s Ewan Kingsbury: “I think he’d suit Newcastle.

“I just feel sorry for Bowen at the moment. When I watch West Ham recently, he’s the only one still standing out.

“He’s still beating his man, getting the ball in, trying to create. Put him in that Newcastle squad and he’d get double figures in the league.

“I think West Ham are costing him his England place at the moment.

“I’m sure Bowen would look to force a move if Newcastle came in.”

HAMMERS TO GET BALOGUN CHANCE –

ARSENAL want at least £26.5million for wonderkid and West Ham target Folarin Balogun, as they are prepared to let him leave in the summer

The striker has excelled on loan with Reims in Ligue 1 this season and would like nothing more than to return to the Gunners as their No 9 next season.

However, given the seniority and contractual lengths of Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah (both until 2027), that is unlikely to happen.

Balogun is opposed to the idea of a third loan move, having spent the second half of 2021-22 with Middlesbrough, and is nearing the last two years of his deal.

Major European sides — including AC Milan, Inter Milan, Marseille, Monaco and West Ham — are in pursuit of Balogun and can offer a starting berth, with the striker known to be attracted by such opportunities.

Calciomercato claims that although Arsenal are not keen to let the young man depart the club at the end of the season – they will find it very difficult to keep the young man happy and will allow him to go.

The reports also says that the Gunners board have now set an asking price of £26.5 million for the wonderkid – although they may ask for more should he continue adding to his 18 goals this season.

Balogun has shown that he is no longer a man that is able to sit on the bench and hope for that chance – he is a man that is ready for that next step in his career.

There are some big clubs interested on a potential deal for the man – and he will consider all of those offers when they arrive – we fully expect him to leave ARSENAL at the end of the season.

But if they cannot guarantee him a starter spot – then the best thing is to leave – it is best for his career.
