£51M star wants green light join United – United free sign Worldie – Director offers update on Potential United deal

Here is the latest Manchester United news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today –

The 29-year-old midfielder is expected to leave Bayern either this summer or in 2025, once his contract expires. Manchester United are one of the many clubs interested in a potential transfer with Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool the other Premier League teams Kimmich would be willing to join.

For the last eight years, the versatile 29-year-old has been at the centre of Bayern’s success, but they now risk losing him for nothing. With a possible extension not appearing on the cards, Bayern would be open to the idea of letting the German star leave this summer rather than letting him go for nothing at the end of next season.

Now – sporting director Eberl has opened up about the situation as he claimed that the club would take an appropriate decision after duly considering multiple factors including the player’s wish

Speaking to Sky Sports, the director said, “I will comment on it (the reasons for the upcoming move to Man United) when the time comes. It is not the time yet.

‘Matthijs has played very well here for two years, and that’s why many fans like him. Nevertheless, you have to think about how you make decisions and also how the boy feels. He is still a player of FC Bayern. And as long as he is, he will get all our support.”

Kimmich is one of the best midfielders in the world and a man that Bayern fans will not want to see depart the club in the next transfer window – so this news will come as a shock to the system.

Manchester United have been doing some dodgy business over the past couple of transfer windows  -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.

He is proven at the highest level of the game – is a proven winner – can play in numerous positions and is a leader on the pitch – he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure if the Red Devils manage to get a transfer deal done.

UGARTE WANTS GREEN LIGHT –

Manuel Ugarte is still waiting for the green light to join Manchester United, Fabrizio Romano reports.

Ugarte, 23, joined the French club from Sporting last summer after spending the previous two-and-a-half seasons in Portugal. He moved to Europe from South America as a teenager, months after debuting for the senior Uruguay side

While he was a first-team regular during the first-half of the season under Luis Enrique, he lost his place in the side in the second-half of the season.

PSG are eager to recoup the £51m they spent on the 23-year-old with Fabrizio Romano recently reporting that a number of clubs are very much interested in trying to get a bargain transfer deal done this summer.

It has been claimed that The Uruguay midfielder agreed personal terms with the Red Devils last month, and United remain in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over a fee, with a loan including an obligation to buy a possibility.

Ugarte remains a top target for United, although outgoings are their current priority.

Manchester United reportedly believe that Ugarte would add to the side – so this potential deal is taking alot longer than what the club needs.

But despite the reports that he has been offered to many clubs – it looks like the player would like to make the move to Manchester and join United – they are seemingly leading the chase for the player.

But anything can happen in football and if the the right club offers a bigger amount of money – then United will miss out. So if they really wants the midfielder – then they need to hurry up and try to get a transfer deal done, rather than waiting around.

UNITED FREE TO SIGN AMRABAT –

Sofyan Amrabat could make a sensational return to Manchester United as Fiorentina are desperate to sell the midfielder.

Old Trafford chief Erik ten Hag is thought to have been impressed with how the Morocco anchorman finished the season and was reportedly eager for the star to stay put before his loan deal expired.

But despite the fact he is now back at Fiorentina – there are reports which have suggested that the Italian side are keen to get rid of the player and he is now training on his own until a move happens.

Football agent Giulio Tedeschi recently claimed the Fiorentina star, 28, is a serious option despite the Red Devils being linked to PSG’s Uruguayan ace Manuel Ugarte.

Tedeschi told Firenze Viola, he said: “In my opinion there is a concrete possibility of bringing Amrabat back to Manchester United.

“In my opinion there was some doubt also because it was not known whether Ten Hag would stay.

“Now that it’s certain that he will stay, there are grounds to think about bringing Amrabat back even on loan with obligation, or at a lower figure. The United solution is the easiest.”

Look, if Manchester United wanted to keep Amrabat they surely would have held talks over a deal earlier in the season? He was decent but not great.

He clearly wanted to stay at United and it seems that Erik Ten Hag would like to have him back again – although the signing of Ugarte will mean that Amrabat would not get alot of game time in that United midfield.

But it will be interesting to see how this all plays out, as there is alot of speculation regarding this potential deal. But one thing is for sure – the midfielder is keen on a move back to the club and if United seriously want the man – Fiorentina will not stand in the way.

But as we said – he was only good towards the end of the season last year – the rest of the time he was not.
