£55 million Newcastle target confirms he intends to make transfer move – keen on Premier League deal
Newcastle target Joao Paulhinha has revealed that his intention is to leave Fulham.
Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, and Manchester United are all also reported to be interested in the 28-year-old’s signature after an impressive debut campaign in the Premier League.
But it seemed that a move to Bayern Munich was going to happen over the summer window after they had an offer accepted for the man – but at the very last minute a deal fell through and the midfielder had to stay put.
However – there has been alot more speculation that he could once again leave the club this transfer window – and he has come out and revealed that his intention still is to leave Fulham when he gets the chance.
“I’ve always said that I feel the love that the supporters have for me,” he told Sky Sports before the Cottagers’ 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
“I know that someday I will leave Fulham. I want to give everything. I’m always 100 per cent professional here, and I will do my job every time that I play for Fulham.”
The midfielder also revealed his intention to stay in the Premier League – “This is why I always wanted to come here: to come to the best league in the world,” Palhinha added. “My family looked for the best league for my game and where I fit better.”
However – Reporter Iomie Stanley believes that Paulinha not really needed at the Toon – as they need to start signing big-time players – he told icfootballnews: ‘The board have been very patient in not adding too many big named players to the side – but they need to start taking that leap.
‘The Toon have some serious funds and can attract big players – so even though Paulinho is a decent player – he is not really a player that could get the Toon fans excited.’
