Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal transfer news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Arsenal could land Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho for just £40 million this summer.

Before Sancho made that move to Man United just a few seasons ago – he was rated as one of the best and most creative wingers in the Bundesliga and a man that could add about 20 assists a season.

The move to Man United was meant to be tat next step in his career – but issues off the pitch and the inability to get on with his boss – coupled with some dodgy performances has meant that he did not live upto expectations – and was shipped back to Borussia Dortmund on loan.

But Sancho has scored three goals and registered one assist in all competitions for Dortmund since returning to the club on loan in January and looks every bit like the player he was just a few seasons ago.

There has been some chatter in the media over the past few weeks that Arsenal may be interested in a deal for the winger as Mikel Arteta is keen to keep on adding some depth to his squad, but the asking price would have been a bit much.

However – Man United are determined to sell Jadon Sancho this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano and they want to sell the winger regardless of who is in charge of the first team and are looking for a fee of £40m.

Former Gunners star Emmanuel Petit recently claimed that he believed ARSENAL could reap the rewards by signing the England international in a similar way to how they revived Kai Havertz’s career after a sticky spell at Chelsea.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Petit said: “I was saying how impressed I was with Jadon Sancho in the Champions League on commentary – he looks like a new player, so fit, thin and explosive.

‘He’s like dynamite on the pitch, so explosive on the ball with [Karim] Adeyemi on the left flank – so hard to catch.

‘He’s back to his best and Man United look so far away from them, so if Arsenal want him, why not? You can put the best player in the world at Man United at the moment and they’d look average in two months.”

SESKO WILL JOIN –

It has again been claimed that RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko will join Arsenal this summer window.

Chelsea and Arsenal are eager to sign a No. 9 this summer, and given reports of a £55million release clause in Sesko’s contract, it’s little surprise to see the Slovenian striker heavily linked with a move to London.

It’s understood both the Blues and the Gunners have been working on a deal for weeks – but with the Euros round the corner – he has not made a decision on where he will be next season, if he decide to leave RB Leipzig.

And according to reports on the Sun- Arsenal will sign Sesko this summer as the striker prefers a move to the Emirates.

The reports comes after Emmanuel Petit, who played for both ARSENAL and Chelsea, reckons Sesko would be a fool to say no to the Gunners. “He should definitely pick Arsenal [over Chelsea],” the Frenchman said via Best Online Poker Sites.

“Why? Because of the way they’ve been playing and the spine of the team have been playing together for at least four or five years. They have improved so much individually and collectively.

“They have a proper philosophy of playing. And the environment as well. I think it’s much better at Arsenal than at Chelsea, even though that did improve slightly at Chelsea over the last few months.

“But while it’s a new era at Chelsea, the stability is with the Gunners. So there is more green light, if I was Sesko, to go to Arsenal instead of going to Chelsea.”

Right now there is only one club to join and that is ARSENAL – they have Champions League football and will be competing for that title next season.

It would be a very good move for him to make if he does join Arsenal

JOAO NEVES WANTED –

Mikel Arteta would love to bring Benfica star Joao Neves to Arsenal in the coming transfer window, it has been claimed.

After another stunning season for Arsenal in which they came very close to winning that Premier League title – Mikel Arteta is set to be backed in the coming transfer window.

Joao Neves is a player that the likes of ARSENAL  have been linked with in recent weeks – although his massive asking price may become an issue for some chasing clubs in the summer.

But that has not stopped all the speculation that he is a player that Arsenal would love to sign – especially as many believe he has the ability to develop into one of the very best defenders in world football.

According to A Bola, Benfica are demanding twice as much for Joao Neves as Arsenal are reportedly willing to offer for the player.

The Gunners are ready to offer €60m (£51m) for the young midfielder, but the Portuguese giants want more than what the Gunners are prepared to offer.

And according to a recent report on Sportlens, Arsenal ‘would love’ to sign Benfica midfielder Joao Neves this summer transfer window.

Spending £87 million on a talent like Neves is mad – he has alot to prove and many fans would much prefer the club spend that kind of money on a world class player that can make an immediate impact.

The transfer is a few months away – but ARSENAL need to make sure they sign quality over quantity as they will need to bring in players that could make an immediate impact on the side.

Neves is a very talented – but he is not really the type of player that would get the likes of Man City and Liverpool worried for next season.
