According to Caughtoffside reporter Matteo Moretto – Chelsea linked Dani Olmo has decided where he would like to move too this summer.

Dano Olmo had a brilliant season with RB Leipzig last season and then really impressed at the Euros for Spain – which has led to alot of speculation that all the big Premier League sides are very interested in a deal for the midfielder.

CHELSEA have been linked with a move for the midfielder in recent weeks – but it seems that the Spanish star has made a decision about where he would like to be if he does decide to leave Leipzig this transfer window

“Barcelona already have an agreement in principle with Dani Olmo, and the player only wants to go to Barcelona, and he is putting pressure on RB Leipzig to make the deal happen,” Moretto told Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing.

“Barcelona have almost offered the €60m asking price, the last offer we have information on was €55m, plus €4m in easy variables, and €3m that were harder to achieve.

“I believe they are still discussing the bonuses and the payment schedule, and it may be that Barcelona need to up their offer a little. The clubs are negotiating though, and clearly, Leipzig will try to make as much money as they can on a player that is key for them.

“The talks are heading in the right direction though, and I think will come down to how much Barcelona pay in bonuses and how much in a fixed fee, perhaps altering that.

“The player is pushing for the move, Barcelona are very confident in doing the deal and think it could happen, and then there’s Leipzig — they know Olmo wants to go, so they will negotiate, but right now, there is optimism.

RABIOT WANTS BIG CONTRACT –

Free agent Adrien Rabiot is looking for a massive wage with reports that he is a player Chelsea are very much interested in signing.

It is widely expected that CHELSEA will look to sign some more players in the coming weeks after adding a number of talents to the side over the last few weeks, but they need to add some more quality, experience and winning mentality to the side.

Rabiot has been a player that Chelsea have been linked with for the last few transfer windows – he is a player that is proven at the very highest level of the game and is a player that would bring quality to that Blues midfield.

The midfielder is available on a free after his deal expired at Juventus, and there have been many reports in the media which have claimed that a move to the Premier League is one that the Frenchman is interested in.

But new reports claim that the French international is demanding over a £240,000-per-week – which is alot more than what some of the chasing clubs are willing to pay for his services.

Rabiot is a world class midfielder that could be a very good option for Chelsea and the fact he could be signed on a free would be massive for the Blues.

So if Enzo Maresca wants to add some more quality to that CHELSEA midfield – then the Italian should bring the impressive Rabiot to the side over the next couple of weeks – it would be a very good decision to make.

The Blues have spent so much money bringing young players to the side over the last few months that they need to also bring in a few experienced players that can add some immediate quality to the side.

GREEN LIGHT TO SIGN ARAUJO?

It has been claimed that long-term Chelsea target Ronaldo Araujo is open on leaving Barcelona this summer window.

Maresca is the man that the Chelsea board feel can take the club forward after Mauricio Pochettino failed to impress as coach of the club last season – and the Italian will be backed in the transfer window.

A number of players have already been brought to Stamford Bridge over the past few weeks – but there is a feeling in the media that Chelsea need to sign players that have already proven themselves at the top of the game and could make an immediate impact.

Araujo suffered an injury last month that is expected to see him miss the start of the season, causing Barcelona to consider leaving him unregistered for their squad for the first half of the campaign.

And According to SPORT, this has angered Araujo, with the player now open to leaving the club this summer.

If Barcelona make the decision to sell the defender in the Summer window – he would be a brilliant addition to that CHELSEA side – especially now that Thiago Silva has left the club and headed back to Brazilian football.

Maresca will want players that are proven at the very top of the game and he will need the backing of the board if he is to get the players he feels could take the club forward in the coming season.

Araujo would be a great signing for the club that is for sure, he could take over as the leader in defence following Thiago Silva’s departure from Stamford Bridge.

We have seen the transfer policy from Chelsea this summer – but at the end of the day – can we really see this yound squad competing for that Premier League title against Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
