£60 million will get massive Arsenal deal done after asking price revealed!

Brentford have reportedly named their asking price for Ivan Toney, and it will be music to Arsenal ears.

Toney is currently serving an eight-month ban for breaching betting regulations but will be available to play again come the turn of the year, and the 27-year-old stepped up his preparations ahead of his comeback with a goal in a behind closed doors friendly,

It is widely believed that ARSENAL will be one of the clubs that potentially make an offer for Ivan Toney in the January window, as Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus are simply not enough to score 20 goals a season.

And while Toney would provide a genuine goalscorig outlet, there has been fears that Brentford would be asking far too much money for a player that will have not played for eight months.

But according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, on his podcast on Caughtoffside, has said, (via Simon Phillips), “Ivan Toney will cost at least £60m for interested clubs in January.”

However, Arsenal will face competition from Chelsea and Tottenham, who are also said to be keeping tabs on the situation.

Look, if ARSENAL manage to sign Ivan Toney in January, they will win the League. He really is that type of player that could come in an make an instant impact on the side.

If the Gunners are prepared to offer the money – then it would be the only signing of the transfer window that they need to make, the rest of the squad is brimming with quality, so adding a player like Toney would be massive.

However – as we said, there is alot of interest in the man so that £65 million asking price could be bumped up rather quickly should the likes of Chelsea and Spurs make the offer too
