£60M star ‘EXPECTED’ to make Chelsea move – Blues wants sign WORLDIE – £150m valued ace backed for Chelsea move
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
It has been claimed that Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is most likely to join Chelsea this summer.
The transfer window is just a few weeks away and although the Blues are still looking to hire a new manager – there is still alot of transfer speculation surrounding CHELSEA and players that they could sign.
Olise enjoyed a productive season with Crystal Palace despite only playing 19 Premier League games due to an ongoing hamstring injury, as the winger struck 10 goals and provided six assists in the top-flight as Palace finished 10th under Oliver Glasner.
Chelsea attempted to trigger the 22-year-old’s release clause last summer but the player ultimately signed a new deal with Palace, but the Blues are expected to delve back into the transfer window for the Frenchman regardless who the new manager is.
According to respected insider Simon Phillips, Premier League star Michael Olise is leaning toward a transfer to Chelsea over Manchester United, should he leave Crystal Palace this summer.
He recently stated: “A second source has now added more confidence that Olise will pick Chelsea over Manchester United, following on from my top source saying that last week. We will have to see how that one unfolds in the next days/weeks.”
And With all that said, bookmaker Betfair believes that Olise is most likely to join Chelsea at some point in the transfer window.

Olise is a brilliant player that is ready to make that next step in his career – he is ready to play for one of the big Premier League sides and take his game to another level.
CHELSEA could be a good option for the player as they need someone like Olise to come in and help that attack – that struggled to impress at times last season. The only worry is that the new manager doesnt feel like he could suit the new system.
But as we said – he could be a brilliant signing.
UPAMECANO WANTED –
It has again been claimed that Chelsea are very interested in signing Bayern Munich star Dayot Upemacano this summer window.
Upamecano and Chelsea have been synonymous with each other for years as the Blues attempted to sign the player when he was 17 years old, but he has always rejected a move to the Premier League.
However – After three years in Bavaria, the 25-year-old defender, under contract until 2026, could be tempted to start a new phase elsewhere, and Speaking on the podcast, journalist Christian Falk suggested that the Frenchman was in Chelsea’s sights – despite some under-par performances for the German giants.
He said: “Yes, it’s true: CHELSEA would like Dayot Upamecano. It’s not really clear yet whether he’ll have a chance next year. Vincent Kompany is looking at everyone, but would Bayern let him go?
“That would probably cost a lot of money. At the time, Bayern paid €€42.5m to RB Leipzig.”
However – the report adds that newly appointed Bayern Munich boss, Vincent Kompany, “is fully counting on the former Leipzig defender. The Belgian will now have to convince him of the benefit of staying in Bavaria”, as Bayern are much happier to let Kim Min-Jae or Matthijs De Ligt leave

CHELSEA have just signed the brilliant Tosin Adarabioyo – so that defence is already improved – but they are still one world class defender down and that will need to be sorted over the next couple of months.
Upamecano has long been linked with a move to the Premier Leagues, but this is probably the best chance that Chelsea have to sign the defender as the Germans will probably have to sell before they can buy players.
And if the Blues can get the man – him and Adarabioyo would be a great combination next to Levi Colwill.
FERGUSON TIPPED FOR MOVE –
It has been claimed that Brighton star Evan Ferguson could end up at Chelsea at some point in the coming transfer window.
It is no secret that Chelsea need a striker in the summer – and the likes of Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen and Victor Gyokeres have all been linked with a big money move to Stamford Bridge.
However – Bookmaker Betfair believes Evan Ferguson is a player that Chelsea are most likely to sign at some point in this transfer window – as he fits the type of player that the board is looking to sign.
Pat Nevin recently encouraged Chelsea to try and sign the next Harry Kane – ahead of all the big names linked.
The Scotland international told OLBG: “Chelsea really need a simple finisher. Someone who has good numbers when the ball goes into the box.
“There are plenty of other teams that would be looking for that type of player too. I’m sure Manchester United are one of them. But like Manchester United, Chelsea are in the same boat, they are big clubs or they have been big clubs, and you need to get back to that level.
“In losing Thiago Silva, Chelsea might open up to the idea of having a more experienced striker. CHELSEA always buy young and that’s fine if it pays off in the long term, but I’m absolutely 100% convinced Pochettino wants a little bit more experience in there.
“The future of Ivan Toney has opened up and that could be explored, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right option. He will score goals and he has a cleverness about him, but he’s not what Chelsea generally look at.
“If they go with usual thinking it could be Victor Osimhen or Toney, but if I was Evan Ferguson at Brighton I would be looking at Chelsea at the moment. He’s going to reach his potential by being in a team in which he gets lots of chances and Chelsea are now getting better in being faster in their build-ups.
“I don’t think teams are ignoring him even though he’s not scoring as many goals, but no strikers score millions of goals at the start, look at Harry Kane and his early numbers, it takes time. But if you’re a striker, you want one thing over and above everything else and that’s getting four or five chances a game.
“If you can get into a team that’s doing that and they are clear-cut chances you’d like to be there. I think he’d be better suited to the current CHELSEA side than it would be to say current Manchester United.”
