French International William Saliba has agreed terms on a new four-year contract at ARSENAL .
Saliba has spent the last few seasons developing his football over in French football after Arsenal decided to loan him out – but he has come back and established himself as one of the best central defenders in the Premier League.
There has been some big rumours that the likes of Real Madrid are eyeing up a big transfer move – but Arsenal are keen to make sure that all speculation is ended by giving him a big contract to sign.
The club were believed to be in talks with the star over extending his deal at the Emirates Stadium – and Mikel Arteta recently revealed that the club are working hard on getting him signed up.
Arsenal were offering the defender a £120,000-a-week deal, But that was ‘nowhere near’ what the Frenchman’s representatives were demanding, and it seems that he has not got the terms that he desires.
The Sky Sports website has revealed that Saliba has now agreed terms over a four-year deal.
The paperwork is now being finalised ahead of a formal announcement.
