£70m Man United target to tear up Premier League, Man United can sign Frenchman is wages are met and United target told he can leave Barca

Man United get green light for Coutinho, Griezmann claim made and Maddison to tear up Premier League in top Manchester United news…

Reports from Spain have claimed that Manchester United can sign Antoine Griezmann this summer, if they can pay his massive wages

Griezmann joined Barca from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019, having established himself as one of the world’s best forwards while winning the World Cup with France.

After firing at least 20 goals in each of the last six seasons, Griezmann scored just 15 times in 48 games in his first season for Barca, a disappointing haul given the €120m (£107m/$134m) fee required to bring him to the club, and he has not faired any better this season.

He has largely been played out of position since joining Barca, and because of that fact, he has not looked like the player that dominated over at Madrid for so many years and became one of the very best players in world football

Icfootballnews has learned that Griezmann is a player that Barca are open to selling this summer as they need to clear some of that massive debt that they have racked up over the years

The club’s short-term debt stands at €730m and they need to lighten their salary burden before entering the market, and although it is unclear just how much Griezmann gets at the club, his wages are reportedly upwards of £300,000-a-week

But reports claim that if the Red Devils are willing to meet his wages this summer, Barca are open to letting him leave, and he is open to moving to the Premier League

One of the best attacking players in world football and a man that has been linked with the Premier League alot over the past few seasons, yes he would be welcome at the Manchester giants.

How could they turn down the opportunity to sign one of the best players in world football? Especially at a bargain price.

It is a shame that Griezmann has not excelled at Barca, but we would love him here in the Premier League, and he would certainly be that statement signing that the Red Devils will be looking to continue adding to the squad

Paul Merson has backed Manchester United transfer target James Maddison to tear up the Premier League this coming season

Over the past few seasons, Maddison has developed into one of the very best attacking midfielders in the Premier League and is reportedly interested in a move to the likes of Old Trafford.

United have been linked with the player for some time, but have never made an official move, but with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to spend some serious money, he has come back on the radar of the Red Devils

Now, amid the speculation that United are keen, Merson believes the ex-Norwich player’s exclusion from the England fold may help him prosper this season, The Sportskeeda columnist wrote: “He will be fresh and raring to go ahead of the 2021-22 Premier League season.

“Before his unfortunate injury last season, he was absolutely flying for Leicester City and I got the feeling that he came back a bit too early.

“I like Maddison and I think he can make a real impact this season.

“He can really rip it up and will have an advantage over those who had international commitments earlier this summer, as those players may not start the forthcoming season for their respective clubs.”

Look, Maddison is a top class player that is worth alot of money, but despite the fact United are one of the biggest clubs in the game, he seems very happy at Leicester

If they got him, it would be a great signing, but we believe he will be tearing it up for Leicester this coming season and not the Red Devils

Fresh reports have again claimed that Manchester United target Philippe Coutinho has been told that he is free to leave Barcelona this summer

Coutinho was one of the most gifted players in the Premier League with Liverpool and the Reds helped mould the Brazilian into one of the very best players in world football.

That ultimately led to him making that big money move to sign with Barcelona, a move that was supposed to make him an absolute superstar in the game. But for many reasons, he has failed to make the impact that many people had expected.

That has led to alot of reports in the media that he is very open to the idea of making a mega money move back to the Premier League, where there are a number of clubs that are reportedly interested in a transfer deal.

Spanish publication Todofichajes have claimed Barca no longer cares about receiving a transfer fee for Coutinho, but they simply have to get rid of him.

And that has opened the door for United to swoop in and offer him a move to the club

The midfielder has been a long-term target for the Red Devils and with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeking to add a bit more quality, creativity and world class ability to the squad, this may be the best chance that United have of getting a deal done

Look, there has been alot said about the future of Coutinho and if United really wanted to get a transfer deal done, they would have already by now as he has been free to leave Barca all summer

But he would be a great signing if they do decide to make some kind of move guys
