HERE IS A ROUNDUP OF THE LATEST CHELSEA NEWS FROM ICFOOTBALLNEWS.COM

Fresh reports have again claimed that Chelsea are now looking to snap up a deal for Leicester defender Ben Chilwell.

After months and months of fighting their transfer ban, Frank Lampard managed to get an early Christmas Present this month after it was revealed that the ban had been lifted, and Chelsea will be able to sign players again in the January window.

And that has led to a lot of transfer speculation in the media suggesting that Chelsea are ready to make a move to try and bring in the type of players that will help take them to the next level, and challenge for more than a Champions League place.

And according to the Talksport website, Frank Lampard will reportedly try and sanction a £70 million deal to try and secure a deal for the very impressive Chilwell, who has become arguably the best left-sided defender in the Premier League right now

Chelsea already have Spanish left-back Marcos Alonso in the squad, but there has been a lot of transfer speculation that he would be open to a move to the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid, with speculation during this summer that he was actually open to a move away.

And Chilwell, who is regarded as one of the best young left-backs in the Premier League, is seen as his long-term replacement, but he will not come cheap and the reports suggest that Chelsea will have to pay close to £70 million to secure a transfer deal next summer.

Chelsea have been linked with a January move for Nathan Ake, but they should be going for Kalidou Koulibaly.

After months and months of fighting their transfer ban, Frank Lampard managed to get an early Christmas Present this month after it was revealed that the ban had been lifted, and Chelsea will be able to sign players again in the January window.

And that has led to a lot of transfer speculation in the media suggesting that Chelsea are ready to make a move to try and re-sign Dutch defender Ake, who has become one of the most impressive defenders in the Premier League for Bournemouth over the last few seasons.

Lampard knows that he needs to solve his defensive issues at Stamford Bridge if he is to get this side back challenging for that Premier League title, and Ake, has proven himself enough in the Premier League to warrant a move back to the Bridge.

However, despite the fact that Ake has been impressive, Lampard should spend close to £69 million In the January window and try to persuade Napoli to sell powerhouse defender Koulibaly.

Koulibaly has been outstanding for Napoli over the past few seasons and his performances has attracted all sorts of interest from the games biggest clubs, with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and even Barcelona all joining Chelsea in the chase for the defenders signature.

It has been reported on many occasions that Napoli do not want to sell one of their biggest players and would rather keep him at the club well before he leaves for a club like Chelsea, that is how much they reportedly are desperate to keep him at the club.

However, recent reports on Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, President Aurelio De Laurentiis plans to overhaul the Partenopei squad with Koulibaly, Dries Mertens, Jose Callejon, Lorenzo Insigne, Allan, Elseid Hysaj and Faouzi Ghoulam also set to depart.

Chelsea target Erling Haaland says he in unfazed by transfer speculation amid interest from a number of top European clubs.

They may have the brilliant TAMMY ABRAHAM, who has netted 20 goals this season, but Olivier Giroud is tipped to leave, while Michy Batshuayi just makes up the numbers, meaning that Lampard will be short up top.

Haaland has scored 24 goals in 19 appearances for Red Bull Salzburg this season, form which has attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea, United and Liverpool, to name just a few clubs,

Asked how the speculation affects him, Haaland said on the Sky Sports website: “I just focus on my job – playing football – to enjoy what I do every day and to go in with a clear mind-set to be in the present and enjoy the moment right now.

“My focus is Salzburg and me as a player. So it’s not hard at all. I’m enjoying playing football.”
Chelsea have been linked with some big time strikers, but if they want to keep adding to this very young, exciting side, then the signing of Haaland could be a great move. He has the ability to score, has the power to lead the Blues attack and is young enough to be a perfect long-term partner for Abraham.

Chelsea do not want to sign a forward that will replace Abraham, they want a striker to come in and be his partner, and that is why for just £75 million, Haaland would be a better move then a move for a striker that demands to be played every week.

Reports have claimed that Christian Pulisic will have fight on his hands to keep his place in the Chelsea side, if the Blues seal a deal for Jadon Sancho.

Chelsea appealed their transfer ban last month in hope of being able to sign players in the January window, and after a few weeks of waiting FIFA came out and revealed that they had cut-short the transfer ban imposed on the Blues, meaning that they are now free to get some business done.

And that has got many Chelsea FANS EXCITED ABOUT THE POSSIBLE SIGNING OF SANCHO, with reports in the media suggesting that he has become a top transfer target for Frank Lampard.

According TO THE DAILY MAIL, Chelsea are prepared to pay a club-record £100million to land the England international and want to make him a fixture in the side

The report goes on to say Lampard’s plan is to have both Sancho and close friend Callum Hudson-Odoi spearhead Chelsea’s attack over the coming year, with Tammy Abraham playing through the middle.

However, it will mean that Pulisic will once again have to fight for his Chelsea career, just like he had too after a poor start to life in the Premier League under the club legend.
