£80 powerhouse ‘is built for Chelsea’ Board told to wrap up big transfer deal!
Reporter Iomie Stanley has told Chelsea that they should look to sign Ivan Toney in the summer window.
Toney is seen as one of the best forwards in the Premier League and a player that is ready to take that next step in his career, despite the fact he has been out of action for a few months because of his off-field antics.
And amid all the transfer speculation – Pundit Stanley has opened up and told the CHELSEA board that they should do all they can to try and sign Ivan Toney this coming transfer window.
He said: “Ivan Toney, I think he is built for this team, Ivan Toney, personally, the way that they play. He would be the one that I would, yeah definitely, go for if I were the manager.
‘there has been so many players linked with a move to the club over the past few months – but if Ted Boehly and Pochettino need a proven – ready-made Premier League star – Toney should be the answer.
‘His poor form since coming back to action will mean that Chelsea could get him for a far lesser price than the £80 million that is being talked about – which would be a massive bonus for the club and their transfer dealings.
However – Brentford boss Thomas Frank has admitted that they are desperate to keep the £80 million valued striker in the January transfer window.
‘”Last year there were three players scoring more than 20 goals in the Premier League, he was one of them.
‘However – Ivan is a Brentford player. No bids. they want to keep him. They will fight until the end of the transfer window.
