£80M star to join Blues – Poch told sign £100M man – star announces ‘be great’ to see Chelsea signing arrive
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today –
CHELSEA manager Mauricio Pochettino has been told to sign Harry Kane this summer window.
Pochettino is now officially at Stamford Bridge to start the job that he agreed too weeks ago – and there is a feeling that a new striker is wanted by the Argentine boss.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Tony Cascarino believes that Kane’s fantastic relationship with the former Spurs boss could swing the transfer race in the Blues’ favour.
The 60-year-old said: “Managers who have worked with players who they have loved and had a great, they love to bring them in.
“They’ve worked with them before. They love them as professionals. They love what they can deliver.
‘Now you talked about the ‘bromance’ – I don’t think there’s been anyone bigger than Poch and Harry because Harry’s respect for Poch was extraordinary. They’ve done brilliantly together.
“Would Poch want him? Absolutely! If they thought they could get him they’d go after him. The problem is whether Tottenham would sell to Chelsea.
‘Now, Chelsea could fund it… Would Harry go? Well we never know because he’s never been asked a question but the Poch lure is a big one.”
"Harry Kane's respect for Pochettino is extraordinary!" 👀
"The great Jimmy Greaves played for both #CFC and Tottenham, it's not that big of a deal." 🤷♂️

There is no doubt that Pochettino would love to have Harry Kane at Chelsea and if they offer the right amount of cash – a deal could get done.
Tottenham want £100 million for their star man – no other club want to pay that – so if Chelsea really wish to sign the Spurs star – they have the money to get this deal done.
And now that Pochettino is CHELSEA – Kane will be more open to a possible transfer.
Mudryk plea –
Mykhailo Mudryk says it would be ‘great’ to see CHELSEA sign his Ukraine teammate Georgiy Sudakov.
Sudakov is currently playing for Shakhtar Donetsk but has already been tipped to make the move to one of Europe’s elite clubs.
CHELSEA have been signing some of the games most exciting young players over the last couple of transfer windows as they look to have a long-term plan in place.
And Mudryk is hoping that the 20-year-old links up with him at Chelsea.
Speaking about his assist to Sudakov after Ukraine beat France, Mudryk said: ‘Usually it’s the opposite – he gives it to me and I score. And now he scored a penalty, and I thought – I need to score more
‘I do everything for my friend, I hope he just keeps scoring. I’m just promoting him!’
Asked if he would like to see Sudakov at Chelsea, Mudryk replied: ‘That would be great.’

Sudakov is a very exciting young player that has a big future in the game – but at the end of the day guys – he is not the type of player that Pochettino needs right now.
The Argentine has a number of youngsters already at the club and now needs to bring in a few proven top level players – so we believe that signing Sudakov would not really benefit the club right now that is for sure.
Maybe in a few seasons when he is more established in the game he could be a great addition to the side – but for now – save their money and spend in on somebody that can make an immediate impact.
Caicedo to sign –
Chelsea remains the most likely destination for Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo,
CHELSEA have been chasing the services of Caicedo for months now after the midfielder had a brilliant season for Brighton.
He has become one of the most in-demand players in the Premier League – but Chelsea have always been leading the chase to get a transfer deal done for the young man.
Chelsea will now push to sign the 21-year-old, with Caicedo already agreeing to join and personal terms not expected to be an issue
And CBS reporter Ben Jacobs has told GIVEMESPORT that Stamford Bridge is the most likely destination for Caicedo: “Of course, you’d expect Brighton to try and get the best possible deal.
‘But I understand that Caicedo will be a lot closer to £80m than £100m and Chelsea, not Manchester United, remains the most likely destination at this point.”

Although we do not agree with the money that is being paid by Chelsea – Caicedo is not worth such a massive amount – he really is a super player for what he does.
The problem may be his age though – he is still quite young and will be going into a side that will have world class players – that is one of the biggest in the game – and that will give him alot more pressure.
This is a massive move for him to make and we believe he could be great – but we also believe that such a move at this stage of his career is a massive risk because he could struggle to hold his nerve.
We have see alot of players try to make that step up in the game and faulter – CHELSEA will be hoping that does not happen to Caicedo.
