Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…

ARSENAL have been encouraged to make a move and bring Ngolo Kante back to the Premier League, as he could be a good option to have in the side to keep on rotation.

Chelsea offloaded the Frenchman last summer as he joined the Saudi Pro League influx, signing for Al-Ittihad, as his time at Stamford Bridge was over because of the players age and performances.

However, despite turning 34 in March, he was a standout player for France during this summer’s European Championships and has looked every inch the player that helped the Blues win so many titles over the years.

That has led to some stunning reports in the media which have claimed that he could be heading back to the Premier League and now Emmanuel Petit has urged ARSENAL to make a move for the Frenchman and pull out of a chase for Mikel Merino.

‘N’Golo Kante still has what it takes to play at the highest level, I have a huge respect for him as a player, he just might not be able to play as often as he did,’ Emmanuel Petit told Casino Hawks.

‘He isn’t exactly the same player as he was but he is 33 and still has real quality, his personality and his character and commitment can be so valuable to a club.

‘He is in Saudi but could still be a real asset for a team like Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, he would be top class in a rotation for Arsenal and it would be a good move for him too.

‘In terms of mentality, he would give 100 per cent for his team-mates, he brings something special.’

Look, Kante was brilliant for France in the European Championships – but we cant even see him coming back to the Premier League – he is getting far too much money in Saudi Arabia and he will not be happy sitting on the bench every week at ARSENAL

GYOKERES TOLD SIGN FOR ARSENAL

Anders Limpar says he ‘would love’ to see Sporting sensation Viktor Gyokeres make the next big step in his career by completing a ‘crazy’ move to ARSENAL.

Gyokeres has been in sensational form this season for Sporting Lisbon  and already has 23 goals to his name, which has led to alot of speculation in the media that he is a player all the big clubs wants to sign in the coming windows.

However, former Arsenal and Sweden midfielder Limpar hopes to see his fellow countryman playing for the Gunners if he were to move on from the Portuguese top flight: ‘I know Gyokeres very well personally, I was a bit of a mentor for him when he played for Brommapojkarna, he and Ludwig Augustinsson. So, I’ve talked a lot about professional life with him,’ Limpar told FotbollDirekt.

‘He’s a fantastically hardworking forward who scores a lot of goals.

‘If we at Arsenal [were to] buy Gyokeres, then he will definitely call me. But then to see Gyokeres at ARSENAL, that would be crazy.

‘His work rate, he runs like a madman. When it doesn’t work out for Viktor, he works his way into the game with uncomfortable runs.

‘When other top forwards aren’t doing well, they don’t work so hard for the team, they save their energy, Viktor never saves his energy. When things are a bit slow, he works his way into a game with runs, that’s why it has gone so well.’

There are not too many Gunners fans out there that would hate to see Gyokeres make the move to the Emirates, he is a quality player that is destined for that big move.

The Premier League would be a real test of his ability, but in that Arsenal attack, he could easily bang in the goals.

But we feel a move to Man United is the one he will make.

ARSENAL ADVISED TO SIGN GULER

Reporter Iomie Stanley has opened up and encouraged ARSENAL to make a move and try to rescue Arda Guler from his Real Madrid nightmare, as the midfielder has really struggled to make any sort of impact at the Bernabeu.

There has been all sorts of transfer speculation in the media and pundits coming out to advise the Arsenal boss on players that would help improve this Arsenal side an close that gap on Liverpool, and Guler is one of those.

Guler’s first 16 months as a Real Madrid player have not been easy, to say the least. He has yet to command a consistent run of starts for Carlo Ancelotti’s side, and despite a hectic schedule so far this season for Los Blancos, he has only been named in the starting line-up on three occasions

Now, amid all that speculation and rumours, Stanley has opened up and told the Gunners to try and sign the star – Speaking to icfootballnews, he said: “Arsenal have lots they could offer Arda Guler, including more playing time than he gets at Real Madrid currently.

‘He could thrive at Arsenal with that opportunity. He needs to play to reach his potential and maybe a loan would suit him after he was so impressive at Euro 2024, he is a very clever player.

‘Guler has also seen just how Martin Odegaard when the Emirates and established himself as one of the best creative players in the world, he would believe he is good enough to make that sort of impact.’

Arteta knows the type of players he wants.

The boss will want established stars that can make a difference and players that will make an immediate impact, Guler is very talented, but not ready for the big challenges that ARSENAL face right now.

But in the long run he could be a great signing.
