End all speculation Chelsea! get seven goal-striker Abraham wrapped up to big £100,000-a-week Blues deal
Chelsea need to wrap up a new contract deal for striker Tammy ABraham after his brilliant performance at the weekend.
Abraham has taken all the headlines for all the right reasons over the past few weeks as his treble on Saturday saw him surge to the top of the Premier League scoring charts with seven goals, where he was subsequently joined by Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.
It comes after a stunning season for Aston Villa last season in which he netted 26-goals for the Premier League side, and with the club still unable to sign any players, there is now talk that Chelsea want to end any possibility about the young mans signature and tie him down to a new contract at the club.
Lampard has clamoured for Abraham to be rewarded with a new deal in the same way he did for Mason Mount, and recent reports on the TalkSport claimed that Chelsea were ready to hand the young Englishman a big deal to sign.
The 21-year-old is currently the lowest earner in the Chelsea squad after Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek signed new contracts in the summer.
But after once again proving that he is more than capable of leading the Chelsea attack and scoring goals for fun, the urgency to sign him up to a new deal as the big clubs will now be circling for his signature, just like Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Abraham is a very exciting young striker that seemingly has all the qualities to be a real Premier League hitman, if he can get the creativity behind him that he needs to score the goals.
And signing a new contract at the club this summer will do him the world of good, as being one of the lowest paid players at the club will get into his head over time, especially if he continues to find the back of the net on a weekly basis.
So even though Chelsea are in no rush to complete this transfer deal, they should, as the lad deserves to lead the Chelsea attack for the next few years.
So Chelsea NEED TO OFFER HIM A NEW CONTRACT, GET THE NEW CONTRACT SIGNED UP, AND THEN ANNOUNCE IT. The lad needs a bigger contract then he currently gets.
