Abraham issues message – Saka to sign up with Arsenal – Maddison prefers Emirates move in Arsenal news of the day –

Tammy Abraham has told the likes of Arsenal that he in no hurry to make a move back to the Premier League

The 24-year-old hit 27 goals last season following a €40 million transfer to Italy, Helping the Italian side and Jose Mourinho to Europa Conference League glory.

However – there has been alot of speculation in the media that he could make a move back to the Premier League – as a number of clubs – like ArsenalFC – are very much interested in a possible deal

It is claimed that he has a £68 million clause in his contract which clubs can activate if they wish – but he has come out and addressed all the speculation that he could make a swift move back to England

Abraham told Corriere dello Sport of the transfer talk he has been generating: “The first day I arrived at Roma I felt at home.

“I’m in no hurry to return to the Premier League because here I can express my way of playing. In Italy I feel happy in every respect.

“Believe me, I don’t think about the future, but about the present.

“I focus exclusively on the season that is about to begin, because I want it to be even more rewarding than the first I experienced in Italy.”

Look – Abraham is very happy in Italian football and developing very nicely – so to come back now would be a massive mistake

A move to ArsenalFC may happen in the future – and he would suit the style of play at the Emirates – but he has made the right decision and that should end all the speculation about his future this summer

It will be interesting to see if he is able to break that 20-goal barrier next season

Saka to sign –

Arsenal will not sell Bukayo Saka to Liverpool this summer and fans have been told that he will be signing a new deal with the club

Saka netted 11 times last term and he’s attracted attention from Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, who could move for the England international if he fails to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.

He has become one of the most exciting players in Europe and is a player that many fans believe has the potential to develop into one of the very best players in world football

ArsenalFC have shown their ambition so far this summer by spending £120m on the likes of Gabriel Jesus – Fabio Vieira – Marquinhos and Oleksandr Zinchenko – But keeping Saka is paramount to Arsenal’s plans

Now – amid all the speculation – Transfer guru Dean Jones has opened up and announced that Saka will not be sold to Liverpool and that he will sign a new contract at the Emirates – despite the reports The Gunners have not yet offered him that new contract he deserves

He told Give Me Sport: “Edu particularly won’t entertain offers for Saka at the moment and doesn’t believe that even a Liverpool bid could force the club to sell at the moment, so I think he will sign a new contract.”

We dont not expect Saka to leave ArsenalFC this summer – but if the club do not get into the Champions League – we can see him leaving in 12 months’ time

He wants to be on the biggest stage of the game – and although Arsenal are showing the right intentions – they are a few years of Man City and Liverpool

So, maybe Saka will hold off signing a new contract for now – as he knows that he has the ability to play for one of the biggest sides in the game

Maddison claim made –

Transfer guru Dean Jones has claimed that Leicester City star James Maddison would prefer to join the likes of Arsenal over Newcastle United.

After developing into one of the most creative players in the Premier League – and before his serious injury – Maddison was linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the last summer transfer window but, despite speculation, a transfer never materialised

It has been claimed that ArsenalFC were prepared to pay as much as £50 million to try and secure a transfer deal for Maddison, but Leicester did not want anything less than £60 million, so the Gunners opted to get Martin Odegaard instead

However, the Gunners have maintained their interest in the player as Mikel Arteta knows that he needs to keep improving on the quality of player that he has at the club right now, and it is believed a move will be made.

But there is speculation that Newcastle have already made a move to sign Maddison as they seek to try and make some impact signings by the end of the transfer window

But – according to Jones – Maddison would prefer to join the likes of Arsenal or Tottenham over joining the Toon – Speaking on The Done Deal Show, Jones said: “James Maddison has had an approach from Newcastle.

“The offer Newcastle have put to Leicester isn’t enough and they have to decide whether or not to bid again.

“They’ve not been encouraged to bid again, and I don’t get any signs that Maddison actually wants to join Newcastle, from what I hear Maddison wants to join Tottenham or Arsenal.

“If he’s going to leave Leicester one of those two need to make an offer, that’s the latest I’ve heard.”

Maddison is a very gifted player but we cant see him joining ArsenalFC or Tottenham at this stage of the transfer window – especially as the Toon are offering a lot more than what the London clubs are offering

But it will be interesting to see how this all plays out as Newcastle have been unable to sign the players that they want
