Agent confirms Arsenal want defender – Arteta told to sign 25-goal a season striker – Midfielder to move
Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
Juventus still want to sign Arsenal star Thomas Partey in the January transfer window, and fans should expect him to leave the club in the winter window
Thomas Partey has been a player that has been in the transfer headlines ever since the news broke that ARSENAL were interested in signing Declan Rice.
And since the Midfielders move to the Emirates for £105 million – there has been even more rumours in the media suggesting that he wants out – that he is interested in a move away and does not fancy sitting on the bench.
Mikel Arteta has tried to incorporate the midfielder into his side by changing his position in the side and messing around with the tactics of his squad, which has had mixed results so far this season.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
According to recent reports on Calciomercato, the Bianconeri are considering a swoop in the winter.
In fact, the Old Lady is eyeing up a loan move as they are desperate for a midfielder amid the off-field situation involving Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli.
Reporter Iomie Stanley told IcFootballnews: ‘I would have liked someone like [Romeo] Lavia from Southampton. I think he would have been a good option, but I can see why that didn’t happen last summer.
‘I do think the time to think about Partey’s exit will be this January. I think it’s certainly something Arsenal will think about given his contract, there is only a year left, given his age and injury record.
‘If a good offer comes in for him, it’s kind of similar to what last summer was. Then Arsenal should allow him to leave the club and use the money to invest in a new striker.’

There has already been so much speculation about Thomas Partey leaving the club for Juventus, so we are sure there will be alot more said about this over the next few months.
If Partey wants to play on a regular basis and does not fancy keeping the bench warm, then a move away from the Emirates may be the best thing for him and his career.
ARSENAL will use the £30 million they could possibly get and sign a player that adds something different to the squad – so if does Partey moves on – he will not be missed too much.
25-GOAL A SEASON STRIKER NEEDED –
Arsenal will need to sign a 25-goal a season striker if they wish to reach the level of Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta has done a wonderful job since taking over at the Emirates and has really turned this ARSENAL side into one of the most exciting to watch in many seasons.
They are sitting top of the Premier League right now after another impressive start to the new season, and there is a feeling that they will be able to go on and win their first Premier League title in 20 years.
Stanley is very impressed with Arsenal’s progression under Mikel Arteta and claims they are on the cusp of greatness, if they manage to add a 25-goal a season striker to that very exciting attack.
He told IcFootballnews: “Declan Rice, massive, he looks like he’s been there for five or six years. He’s fitted straight into the side and is looking like the player that is worth over £100 million.
“They have two top class strikers, one of the best defences in the League and have numerous options in that midfield that is dangerous from any part of the pitch, Mikel Arteta has got a very good mix of players working well together.
“But In terms of a striker, I’ve said since the start of the season that they’re a 25-goal-a-season man away from winning the league.
“Jesus has been outstanding, but he doesn’t do it regularly. Nketiah isn’t going to score 25 goals a season although he is a top-class player, and I genuinely believe ARSENAL are that striker away from being on par with Man City.”
“Arteta will have the opportunity to sign a new striker in the January window that will really send a statement to the rest of the League, and if they manage to get an Ivan Toney or a Victor Osimhen, Man City will be truly worried.’
DRAGUSIN WANTED –
Genoa defender Radu Dragusin is a player that Arsenal are reportedly interested in ahead of the January window.
The Gunners board have been doing some wonderful business over the past few transfer windows and adding players to the squad that have really turned them into Premier League title contenders.
But despite possessing one of the strongest defences in the Premier League, ARSENAL continues to seek players who can add some much needed depth to the squad and keep the side progressing.
Dragusin is one of the most in-demand defenders in Italian football after impressing with Genoa and has a number of clubs reportedly eyeing up a potential deal in the Winter transfer window.
Now His agent, Florin Manea, has spoken about interests in his signature and said, as quoted by The Sun that Arsenal are one of the clubs that are interested in a potential deal for the defender.
He said: “I have been in London for some time and have almost weekly meetings with important teams.
“We are getting closer. I spoke with Newcastle, with ARSENAL, with Tottenham.
“I also have messages with them, conversations. There are teams that ask [about Dragusin].”

Dragusin is a very talented football that has the ability to make a move to a big club like Arsenal, but with all the defensive quality that Mikel Arteta has right now in that back-line, it would just be a waste of money.
Unless one of the regular starters plan on leaving the club, there would be no point in splashing £30,40 or even £50 million on a defender that is not really needed at the club.
