Look, Wirtz is a very exciting talent that has had a brilliant start to the new season, but he is not a man that will come in and make much of an impact for Klopp, he needs to add some experience.

There are better players out there that Liverpool should sign, there are players on the market that have done alot more in the game and there are players out there that could make an impact now.

So, even though Wirtz would be another exciting signing for LIVERPOOL, He is not the type of player that will get the likes of Arsenal and Man City worried about losing the title.

Ruben Neves insists he remains fully committed to Al-Hilal amid rumours the likes of LIVERPOOL could make a move

Jurgen  knows that one or two injuries in key areas of the pitch would ruin their brilliant start to the new season, and give Man City the chance to overtake them in the race for that Premier League title

The former Wolves midfielder’s move to the Saudi Pro League caused a stir in the summer, given he appeared to be coming into the peak years of his career.

But there has been some speculation in the media that a number of sides are open to the idea of bringing him back to the English game on a loan basis until the end of the season.

But when asked if it was possible that he could, the midfielder has opened up and pretty much told chasing clubs that he has no desire to leave the Saudi Team anytime soon – Neves said: ‘I don’t go.

‘I think that’s rumours because of the owner of the clubs of course, and because I’ve played in England as well.

‘There was Newcastle interest before I came here but I’m really happy here, my family’s really happy, so I’m having a great time.’

It was a shock that a player that was about to hit his prime would make a move to Saudi Arabian football – but it was the right financial decision for him to make.

There will be a few disappointed clubs after his words – but he is happy where he is.

The agent of Moises Caicedo has revealed that LIVERPOOL tried to sign Moises Caicedo while he was at Brighton.

Caicedo was one of the most talked about players of the summer window, as a number of clubs were reportedly interested in a deal for the midfielder after he had impressive season last year.

However – it was Chelsea that decided to splash the big cash and take him to Stamford Bridge in a deal that cost the club £100 million, which is not including the amount of wages and sign on fees.

But Ali Barat, Caicedo’s agent, has now disclosed that the likes of Liverpool also made a late attempt to secure his signature in the closing stages of the transfer window.

The Reds were linked with the star just under a year ago and tried on multiple occasions to get Brighton to let the midfielder leave, but that did not happen as the seasiders were asking for too much money

Since then, the Reds board has delved into that transfer kitty on numerous occasions and brought in some brilliant players that have freshened up the side and that are better value for money.

He tells Tuttomercatoweb:

“It was a fantastic moment, the culmination of three and a half years work. It was an exciting moment and also a very tense one, at the last minute, as you know, Arsenal and LIVERPOOL also came into the game. It was definitely a great experience.”
