Agent confirms United wants Italian – Midfielder agrees United exit – Boss will let £50M JOIN Manchester United
Here is a roundup of the top Manchester United news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –
Wolves boss Gary O’Neil has revealed he’s eager to keep Manchester United linked Pedro Neto at Molineux this summer, but wont force him to stay at the club
Neto was reportedly keen to complete a move to one of the big boys at the start of the transfer window, and the Red Devils have been constantly linked with a move for the player that is valued at £50 million
But even though O’Neill has claimed that he wants to keep Neto at the club – he insists he the club won’t stand in the Portugal international’s way if Manchester United or another club table a “massive bid” for his services.
He told the E&S podcast: “I know how good he is, and I know how well he would do at a big club.
Obviously I want our team here to be unbelievably successful. So I’m hoping that he stays.
“I think so (there’s a chance he stays). There’s nothing going on at this moment from anybody. He’s in a good spot, I’ve spoke to him about how we’re going to play and how it suits him and what a big part he’ll play in it.
“But of course, we’re all grown-ups while you’re having them conversations.
“If a massive bid comes from a top club then no one is going to stand in Pedro’s way.
“I’m confident that he will be here. Because we haven’t had anything really, that makes the club think that he won’t be. But of course, a lot of business can be done late.”

If Manchester United are looking to sign a proven Premier Legaue player that can add goals, assists and creativity to the side – then spending £50 million on trying to sign Pedro Neto could be a very good decision to make over the next few weeks.
He is ready for that next step in his career.
MCTOMINAY AGREES EXIT –
Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has reportedly agreed to join Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The Scotland international was in the starting line-up as United stunned Manchester City to win the FA Cup final in May, and seemed to be a big part of the plans of Erik Ten Hag.
A sale of McTominay this summer looked much less likely than last, but Galatasaray’s vice-chairman recently suggesting that it is very much a possibility after confirming that both clubs are in talks over a potential deal for the midfielder.
Ibrahim Hatipoglu told CNN Turk: ‘We are interested in a player from the Premier League and Manchester United
‘There is nothing more natural than the high cost of this. There are discussions regarding his transfer fee. For us, the total cost, including transfer fees and player receivables [salary], is important at the decision point.
‘Once the negotiations with both the club and the player are completed, the cost becomes apparent.’
‘McTominay’s transfer is being discussed,’ said Hatipoglu. ‘Pierre-Emile Højbjerg is a good player, he has many suitors, he wants to see all options.’
Now – The alleged deal has been reported by Aspor reporter Emre Kaplan, who claims the 27-year-old will take home an annual salary of £5million.
Talks between Man United and Galatasaray have been ongoing for an extended period, with both clubs working towards finalising the terms of the deal for the midfielder

This news has come as a shock to many that Manchester United are really willing to let McTominay leave the club when he played such a big part of the squad last season – but it is probably the right move.
He is a solid player that puts a good shift in – but if Man United wants to get back into the habit of competing at the very highest level of the game – then replacing the Scottish star may be the best thing.
AGENT MAKES CHIESA CLAIM –
The agent of Federico Chiesa has confirmed that Manchester United are interested in a deal for the Juventus star.
Chiesa is a transfer target for Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United – As the winger is “very ambitious” about a move to the Prem and believes top-flight English football will enrich his career.
Man United have suffered immensely in the flanks this term with Antony has been underwhelming since his move to Old Trafford and looks nothing like the player he was at Ajax just a few seasons ago.
The Euro 2020 winner is now seemingly on the market after Thiago Motta took over as Juventus boss and Ramadani also named fellow Serie A club Napoli as a possible destination for Chiesa, who he says could be the subject of a move on transfer deadline day.
‘He is an outgoing player,’ he said. ‘The technical plans have changed and evidently the new coach does not see him among the primary player
‘That said, if he continues to ask for a salary higher than €6m… I know that West Ham, Manchester United and Chelsea were following him.
‘I guarantee you that West Ham would not even give him €6m. Chelsea cannot do crazy things and United would go for other profiles
‘Napoli? Maybe it could be the signing of August 30.’

Look, if Juventus do no longer want Chiesa – then he will get that transfer move away from the Italian giants – but we cant see him at Manchester United.
The Red Devils would need to pay him a massive wage – give his agent a massive fee and also give Juventus a massive fee – so even though he could be a very good signing for Ten Hag to make – his future does not look to be in Manchester.
It is much more likely that he stays in Seria A or makes the mega money move to Saudi Arabia if he leave Juventus.
