Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin could soon be available, with the player’s agent trying to persuade him to leave amid Chelsea interest

The 25-year-old is attracting interest from the Premier League, with Arsenal and Liverpool also keen to complete a move for the Ukraine international. CHELSEA are are claimed to be in the market for a new shot-stopper to push Robert Sanchez for the No 1 spot.

The Spaniard is thought to be Maresca’s first-choice for the new season and the Telegraph suggests that the Blues have stepped up plans to sign a new goalkeeper and have the Lunin as an option.

Lunin signed for Jorge Mendes’ agency, Polaris Sport, in April, and the agent hasn’t wasted much time trying to find the goalkeeper a new club. According to journalist Romain Molina, Mendes is trying to persuade the 25-year-old to leave Madrid this summer, which will catch the eye of several high profile clubs.

Despite losing his place in the team upon Courtois’ return, the Ukraine star recently admitted he wants to stay in the Spanish capital, telling Marca: “Obviously [I want to stay].” We’ll have to see whether he gets his way or if a club comes calling.’

Lunin proved to be a solid stopper for Madrid last season and will surely want to be a regular starter for his new club – if he does leave the club this transfer window.

CHELSEA have already made a number of signings that will not make much of an impact on the side this transfer window – Lunin is not much better than what the club already have in the side.

But the Blues sign who they desire and if they want Lunin – they will surely get the man.

SANTOS DECISION MADE –

Chelsea have already made a huge decision on the future of Andrey Santos and may let the Brazilian go back on loan.

After signing the Brazilian teenager in a couple of January windows ago from Vasco da Gama, he joined up with his Chelsea teammates last summer and impressed during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.

CHELSEA made the big decision in the summer window to allow Santos to make the move to Forest for the season in hope that he would get some game time to adapt to the English game.

But The 19-year-old midfielder was only been used twice by Forest in all competitions since moving to the City Ground in the summer, and when the most recent January window opened up – he was shipped out to Strasbourg.

He has been back at the club for a few weeks after that loan spell – but according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the Brazil international is set to return to Strasbourg in another loan spell.

Having spoken to incoming manager Liam Rosenior, Santos is keen to re-join the French club with a temporary move to Borussia Dortmund snubbed in the process

Santos is a very talented young man that did not need to come to Europe at this stage of his career, he is far too young and is was too big of a decision to leave his homeland.

He needs to be playing – so hopefully at Strasbourg he will get some more game time and it will help his development. But one thing is for sure – he probably did not expect to be sent all over Europe when he made the decision to join CHELSEA.

CHELSEA TOLD TO SELL FERNANDEZ –

Enzo Fernandez will never be forgiven by some Chelsea players and therefore must be sold, according to Tony Cascarino.

Fernandez faces disciplinary proceedings at Chelsea after posting a video on social media that the French Football Federation said included ‘racist and discriminatory language’.

Fernandez, who completed a £107m move to Chelsea in February 2023, said he was ‘truly sorry’ for the video, but he could yet be punished by Chelsea and FIFA over the incident but Cascarino believes only his departure from west London would satisfy some of his team-mates.

Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: ‘It’s going to be tricky. I look back at when I was at Chelsea in the 90s and I’m not sure that dressing room would be okay with what Enzo Fernandez did.

‘That’s a tricky one to handle. I think CHELSEA have got a major decision on whether they actually keep Enzo Fernandez.

‘Having players not happy with a guy in the dressing room, I’m not sure there will be many that comfortable with some of the things that have gone on.

‘There’s no excuse for that to go out. It’s not going to sit well with the other players is it?

‘I don’t know how you can handle it because there will be players who can’t forgive. There might be some who can move on despite not liking what happened.

‘You don’t need everyone to like each other at a club but this is a really, really tricky one. Some players won’t want to move on or make it work.

‘He’s going to have to apologise to the squad face-to-face as well and maybe then there will be a bit more forgiveness.’

‘It’s quite easy to see where he could go: Saudi Arabia. They’re prepared to pay big fees and big wages.’
