Chelsea announcement made as Deal OFFICIALLY completed, Will fans welcome £100m man? Rice urged to sign for Chelsea and three players Lamps could sign for free

Will fans welcome Koulibaly? Rice urged to sign with Chelsea again, Piazon deal confirmed, Three players Chelsea could sign in Chelsea roundup….

William Gallas has urged Declan Rice to leave West Ham and become a top-player at Chelsea

Since moving into that midfield just a few seasons ago, Rice has gone on to become one of the most talked about players in the premier League and is constantly being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, where Frank Lampard is a massive fan of the player.

Not only does the Englishman cover every blade of grass and recover possession, his fabulous technique and incredible range of passing is beginning to flourish in a West Ham team which has defied expectation this season.

But with rumours that the Hammers will do all they can to try and keep hold of the clubs star player, Gallas has told Rice to take matters into his own hands and make the move to Chelsea in the summer to take his career to the next step.

He told PlayOJO: “He’s a good player, for his age, he’s unbelievable.

“Very strong and technically, he’s almost got everything. For me, he has to leave West Ham to get to the next level because he could be a top-class player.

“To be a top-class player, he has to train everyday alongside top-class players which is why for me he has to leave West Ham next season.

“He looks like he has a strong personality, I think he would be a good signing for Chelsea.”

The January transfer window is open for business, giving Chelsea the opportunity to freshen up their squad.

Frank Lampard was given a massive amount of money to spend in the transfer window, and he managed to secure players that have improved the side in all areas of the pitch.

However, there is still something lacking from the squad that is putting pressure on the shoulders of Lampard, and there has been alot of speculation that he could look to buy his way out of trouble again this month.

But with no movement in the transfer window just yet, Another thing clubs can do, is negotiate pre-contract agreements with players from outside their own league who are entering the final six months of their current deals, to sign them on free transfers in the summer.

And here are a few players that the club could look to sign up on a free deal.

David Alaba

Austrian international Alaba has turned down the offer of a new contract at Bayern Munich, meaning he is almost certain to leave at the end of this season, barring a dramatic turn of events.

The defender, who can operate at either centre-back or left-back, has reportedly made demands that Bayern are not willing to meet, and with Chelsea long-term admirers of the left-back, they are in the hunt to try and get a deal done

Memphis Depay

The Dutch forward was something of a flop at Manchester United – but has rebuilt his career in some style with Lyon. where he has scored 65 goals and provided 48 assists in 157 appearances for the French club.

Depay’s form for club and country has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of PSG and Barcelona, but with Lampard looking to add something different to the squad, there is a chance to bring the Dutchman to the club.

Sergio Ramos

Vastly experienced, yes. Out-of-contract at Real Madrid this summer, yes. interested in the Premier League? Yes. This is a man that is attracting all sorts of interest.

The 34-year-old has enjoyed a glittering career with the La Liga giants, of course, but talks over a new deal are reported to have reach a stalemate, and he is heavily tipped to leave the club, meaning that Chelsea would swoop in an land a player that they have wanted for the last 8 years

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has warned the likes of Chelsea they must offer at least £100m if they want to sign Kalidou Koulibaly this month, but would fans like to see a deal happen?

Koulibaly is easily regarded as one of the most powerful and dominant players in the Italian Leagues, and has developed into one of the most impressive defenders in world football, which has alerted all the biggest clubs.

Despite signing Thiago Silva in the summer, there has been alot of speculation that Chelsea are still very much interested in trying to sign Koulibaly, should he come onto the market, and are plotting to make a move at the end of the season, if you believe all the reports.

But Koulibaly, whose contract expires in summer 2023, has played in 18 games for Napoli this season, helping keep seven clean sheets, will not come cheap, as the likes of Chelsea have been warned that they will have to pay close to £100 million to secure a transfer deal

De Laurentiis spoke to Jim White, and the Sky Sports News’ presenter relayed his conversation on talkSPORT.

“This morning, I spoke to Aurelio De Laurentiis, the Napoli owner, and said what about your player, are there bids in for him? He laughed it off saying he’s not for sale.

“It seems on this occasion Koulibaly is going nowhere. He stays and that was as recent as this morning. Anyone going in with anything other than £100million for Koulibaly can forget it.

“He’s absolutely not for sale unless one of the big clubs in England come up with £100million.”

It has been confirmed that Chelsea have let Lucas Piazon leave the club and sign for FC Braga.

Chelsea have been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks about players that could arrive, and players that could be leaving over the next few weeks, with Piazon a name that is no longer wanted at the club.

The forward is somewhat of a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge with his only Premier League outing come in the memorable 8-0 win over Aston Villa back in December 2012, but is his time at the club is now over

He has now agreed a move away from the club on a permanent basis and has joined Portuguese side FC Braga on a long-term target, Chelsea announced on the club website: “Piazon’s new club Braga are fourth in the Primeira Liga. They are managed by former Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea manager Carlos Carvalhal, who was also Piazon’s boss at Rio Ave last season.

“We would like to wish Lucas the best of luck for the rest of his career and thank him for his service.”

The move has been a long-time coming for Piazon and many Chelsea fans will wish him the very best of luck. It is just a shame that such a gifted player never fulfilled his potential at the club

But as we said, this move was a long-time coming and he needed to make this move now to forge a career for himself. So Chelsea fans will wish him the best of luck, as the club did.

But as we also said, it is such a shame that a gifted player like Piazon could not make it at the club
