Fantasy land! Juventus boss Allegri has £100m Pogba message for Man United fans

Massimiliano Allegri says it is ” fantasy” to think Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could make a move back to Juventus.

Pogba has been the subject of intense transfer speculation for the past 12 months, with constant rumours linking him with a move away from the Club.

The Frenchman struggled to adapt to the playing style of ex-boss Jose Mourinho and constantly fell out with the Portuguese boss, with the former Chelsea man frustrated at the club record signing’s performances.

Juventus, along with Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG have all been linked with the Frenchman, but the Italian giants hold a special place in Pogba’s heart and that is where many people believe he could end up.

The midfielder enjoyed four successful years at Juve after joining the club as a youngster from United in 2012, but Allegri has rebuffed claims he could re-sign for Juve.

“Oh my… you [journalists] have such fantasies,” the Juventus head coach said on Sky Sports news.

“I think that a return of Pogba to Juventus is very, very unlikely.

“I will not deceive myself, I think it will be really hard to see Pogba come back.”

Here is what we think.

Pogba looks like a very happy man that is playing in a side that suits his style of play, so it is still surprising to see rumours he could move away.

However, in the world of football anything is possible and the right offer could actually get a transfer deal done. So United need to be careful next summer, as he could still leave the club despite the fact he is very happy playing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
