Max Allegri sends Arsenal official message about taking up role at Emirates

Massimiliano Allegri has told the likes of Arsenal that he will wait until the end of the season before making a return to management.

After months and months, and MONTHS of calls for Arsenal to sack Unai Ememery, the board finally got together on Black Friday to discuss the future of the Spanish boss and the way the club were heading, and after a few hours of discussions, decided to sack the Spaniard.

Emery failed to win over the fans during the 18-month spell at the Emirates, and it seemed that he lost the dressing gown after a number of poor signings during the summer transfer window, which have not improved the side.

But focus now turns to whom could come in and replace the Spaniard at the Emirates, with reports that Allegri is now the top target to try and get the Gunners back challenging for more than a top six place.

Recent reports have suggested that ARSENAL HAVE HELD TALKS WITH THE ITALIAN, about a possible move to the Emirates, with the Gunners reportedly keen to add some experience to the Arsenal helm.

Allegri parted company with Juventus after guiding them to a fifth consecutive Serie A title in 2018/19, and has reportedly been learning English ahead of a possible move to the Premier League, but Arsenal will have to wait for any potential deal to happen with the Italian, after he told ESPN: “I don’t know if you can call it a sabbatical or noT.

“As soon as the relationship with Juventus came to an end, the decision was to take a year out.

“Next year will be an important year. Important for the choice I end up making and the need to be prepared for it. After a year out and five years at Juventus, I don’t want to go back into the game and do badly.”

Look, Emery was never the right man to come in and get the Gunners back inside the top four, as he is only good enough for the European places. So sacking him before the January window was the right move to make.

Although Allegri is not many Gunners fans favourite to take the role, he is one of the best coaches in the game and is a tactical mastermind, and could be the right man to get the club challenging once again.
