Here is a roundup of the top Manchester United news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…
Sporting president Varandas has been speaking on the future of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea target Victor Gyokeres, and revealed whether the Sporting Lisbon forward will depart the club when the January transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time
This season, he has already scored 16 goals in just 10 League appearances, recently bagging a hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League and continuing to make a real name for himself at the Portuguese giants.
the likes of Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea are just three clubs that are reportedly ready to splash the cash and bring the in-demand striker to the Premier League, and it is looking much more likely that a transfer happens after the departure of Amorim.
Amorim’s agent Hasan Cetinkaya revealed in the summer that Gyokeres was only at Sporting because of Amorim, and there has been some suggestions that the striker may be open to the idea of leaving Sporting when the transfer window opens up in January.
Now, the Sporting president has suggested that the striker could leave the club at the end of the season. As quoted by Fabrizio Romano, Vandaras said: “I can’t promise anything. If a club arrives and pays the release clause, if he (Gyokeres) wants to go, he will go. But I do not think this will happen in January.”
Where Will Gyokeres Go?
There has been may clubs linked with the player and United are one of the sides that are willing to splash some serious money in order to get a transfer deal done, but so are Arsenal and Chelsea
Manchester United are favourites because that is where Amorim is, but it will all come down to money and who offers the most, but it is looking more and more likely that Gyokeres does come to the Premier League that is for sure.
However – it may be a mistake to leave the Giants in the middle of the season and we are sure that a move in the summer is much more likely to happen for the player.
DAVID CONTRACT DEMANDS
Manchester United, target Jonathan David is expected to become a free agent next summer, and is demanding £100,000 a week according to TuttoSport.
Ruben Amorin is now at Man United after making the big decision to leave Sporting Lisbon at this stage of the season and test himself in the Premier League with one of the games biggest clubs.
He has alot of work to do in order to get United back challenging for a Champions League as the former dominant force of the Premier League are now sitting well down in 14th place and looking like a side that is heading in the wrong direction.
Amorim will also get the chance to improve a number of key areas of the pitch, as the defence is expected to be improved, the midfield should see a few new faces arrive and adding another striker to the attack is something that is surely on the mind of Amorim.
Rasmus Hojlund has been too inconsistent since his move to Old Trafford, Joshua Zirkzee has been a massive flop and could be sold, while Marcus Rashford has been out of sorts for the last few seasons and struggles to get a regular run in the side.
That has led to all sorts of speculation and rumours that a potential move for David could happen in the next couple of windows, especially as the striker is out of contract at the end of the season.
David is Starting the new campaign in a similarly potent fashion as he ended it last season, netting 13 times across all competitions already and United have the chance to open talks in January and potential striker a deal with the Canadian star.

Amorim has a big job ahead of him at Manchester United, there are players that need to be sold, players that need to be signed and adding a striker like David to the attack could be a great addition to the side, especially if they can get the man for free.
AMORIM ASKS FOR FERNANDEZ SIGNING
Correio da Manha claim that Ruben Amorim ‘wants to divert’ Alvaro Fernandez to Manchester United, as he seeks to solve the issue that he has at Old Trafford in that left-back position.
The left-back joined Benfica on loan from the Red Devils last winter and he went on to sign on a permanent basis for £5 million at the end of the campaign, and Fernandez has since established himself as a key player for the Portuguese giants. Amorim appears keen on re-signing him with the buy-back clause in his deal.
The Spanish ace can be signed by interested clubs for a release clause worth £42m, but United have the option to bring him back for £17m at the start of next year.

The man left Manchester United and has started to make a name for himself, Amorim knows the Portuguese League and knows what players could improve his Man United side over the next few windows.
That left-back area is a problem and maybe Fernandez could be the answer, but only time would tell that.
