Amorim ready to sign £87M star – United target has Prem offers – ‘makes sense’ for striker to join Man United
Here is a roundup of the top Manchester United news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…
It has been claimed that incoming boss Ruben Amorim is ready to try and bring Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Manchester United in the next couple of transfer windows.
Kvaratskhelia is a player that all the big clubs have been linked with over the past few seasons and is a man that has been heavily tipped to leave Napoli in the next few windows if his £87 million asking price is met.
Chelsea were heavily linked with the player during the summer window, but in the end, the attacker made the decision to stay put and wait for the right club to come in and make that next step up with.
Now As per Caught Offside, Ruben Amorim is willing to sign talented playmaker, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, for Man United.
The Georgian winger has widely been regarded as one of the most exciting wide players going around, for the better part of the last three seasons. The performances have been right up there with some of the very best in the world and Amorim is ready to make him part of the plans when he arrives.

Kvaratskhelia is one hell of a player and a man that Manchester United fans would love to see arrive at the club – he is the type of star that could make a real difference in that Man United side.
The Red Devils do have some quality players that is for sure, but they also have a number of stars that could easily be replaced and Kvaratskhelia would be a much better attacking option.
We are not sure if the reports are true – but he is certainly a player that could thrive in that Man United side under Amorim, and certainly a big impact player that would add some more attacking quality to the side.
GYOKERES TO UNITED MAKES SENSE –
Former Chelsea boss Graham Potter says Manchester United’s interest in Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres ‘makes sense’ as the rumours continue to swirl that the Red Devils are keen to snap up the highly-rated star.

Gyokeres is one of a number of Sporting CP players who could leave the Portuguese club in the wake of Ruben Amorim’s departure, with Arsenal, Chelsea and United likely to chase the former Coventry striker once again.
O Jogo reports that Gyokeres’ is “dissatisfied” with the decision of the head coach to depart for Manchester United, as the Portuguese boss was one of the main reasons that he stayed in the summer window.
That has led to reports in the media that Gyokeres could follow Amorim to Man United in the transfer window, ad the Red Devils need to add a striker to the attack that can actually score on a regular basis.
Gyokeres, 26, has established himself as one of Europe’s leading strikers during his two seasons in Lisbon since joining from Championship club Coventry, scoring 59 times in 65 matches.
And Potter says the deal ‘makes sense’ given United’s struggles in front of goal: ‘You put two and two together and it makes sense,’ Potter told Premier League Productions.
‘Whether Sporting want to sell him or whether United have got the funds for that is another thing but he is a player that has surprised a lot in how well he has done.
‘He has gone to Coventry and had a fantastic period there and at Sporting he has been absolutely wonderful.
‘He’s a no9 who can score. But the first thing for the manager will be assessing what do I have here, what are the strengths and weaknesses with the current group of players. Because I don’t think they will have too much money to spend in January.’

Look, Gyokeres is a quality striker that could have been a great signing for Manchester United – he will come at a risk for many clubs as the Premier League is alot better than the Portuguese League.
He is a very talented striker and it will be interesting to see if Amorim raids his former club
MUANI HAS OFFERS –
journalist Florian Plettenberg has claimed that Kolo Muani has received offers from the Premier League, with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United just a few clubs that have been linked with a move for the Frenchman.

United were heavily linked with a move for Muani before he made the switch to PSG – and could be more than interested again as they seek to continue to add a striker to their already quality attack.
Last season, Kolo Muani managed just six goals in 26 Ligue 1 appearances, and his struggles have continued this season, with only two goals so far.
Having bought from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 for a hefty €80 million, with an additional €10 million in potential add-ons, PSG are reluctant to take a financial hit and will look for at least €70 million if they decide to sell the 24-year-old forward.
Now, Plettenberg has claimed that Kolo Muani has received offers from the Premier League – He wrote on X: “Understand there are already several requests for a loan with an option to buy, especially from the Premier League.”
A transfer of Randal Kolo Muani in the upcoming winter transfer window is no longer ruled out! #PSG and the 25 y/o striker are open to options where he can get regular playing time.
‘Understand there are already several requests for a loan with an option to buy, especially from the Premier League. In the 1-0 win against Lens on Saturday, he spent 90 minutes on the bench. His contract runs until 2028.’

Manchester United will have a brand new manager in the coming weeks and he will have a list of players that he would like to sign, he may not have the money to get the stars he wants, but we are sure there are some experience stars on the list.
Muani has been linked with United, but we feel that he would not make much of an impact if he was signed by the Red Devils.
