Italian opens up and officially responds to rumours he is heading to Arsenal!

Carlo Ancelotti has responded to reports that he could be the man to replace Unai Emery at Arsenal.

Arsenal spent some serious money during the summer transfer window in order to try and build a side that is capable of getting back inside the top four spots, but the signings that Unai Emery made, have not improved the side that much.

And that has led to a lot of speculation about whom could be boss of the Gunners next, with former Chelsea boss Ancelotti on the shopping list of the Gunners hierarchy, as the Italian is also under pressure at Napoli after a stuttering start to the new Seria A season.

‘I stay with Napoli, of course,’ said Ancelotti when asked about Arsenal’s potential interest on the TMW WEBSITE.

‘These are rumours! I have white hair and experience. In this moment they are all rumours.’

Look we all know that following the great manager was going to be a tough task for any boss to try when they took the Arsenal job, but Emery is taking the club in the wrong direction and it is very easy to see just why many Arsenal fans are calling for the Spaniards head.

However, there are many top managers out there that are unlikely to take the role at the Emirates, especially as they will probably be unable to delve into their transfer kitty to help improve the side enough in the next few windows.

Ancelotti is a top manager and would be a solid boss for the next couple of seasons, but he is not the man to come in and help get the Arsenal challenging for top titles again, so him staying away is probably the best thing.
