It has been claimed that Liverpool are leading the chase for the man – but the way Arsenal are playing and the direction that Mikel Arteta is taking the club – they will have a very good chance of getting a move done for Caicedo

Nevertheless, his impressive performances have caught the eye, and as such Brighton are ready to cash-in on the 20-year-old and have slapped an £85million price tag on him, according to the Daily Mirror.

Now, reporter Iomie Stanley has opened up and claimed that he would be a great signing for Arsenal.

He told IcFootballnews: “He’s playing at a really high level at the moment. It looks like that next step up is not very far away for him now.

‘We all know that Mikel Arteta is keen to add a few players to that side in the January window – and all indications suggest that he will be backed by that board.

Arsenal have not registered real interest in the player, from what I’ve heard, but look at the way he’s playing, there’s every reason to believe that he would fit into that Gunners squad very easily.’
