Argentine OFFICIALLY confirms Arsenal will have chance to sign £55M World Cup winner

Mac Allister

Alexis Mac Allister’s father has said there will be “chances” for the Brighton midfielder and Arsenal target to leave the club in the summer.

Mac Allister, who joined Brighton in 2019, was one of the stars of Argentina’s World Cup squad in Qatar, playing in six consecutive games after being left out of their opening defeat to Saudi Arabia.

His performances for his country has led to alot of speculation about his future and where he will end up – with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all reportedly interested in a possible deal for the player.

Brighton lost Leandro Trossard in the January window and did not want to lose another one of their star players – so the decision was made to keep hold of the World Cup winner until at least the summer transfer window.

Now – all the clubs that have been linked with a move have been handed a massive boost after his father admitted that there will be chances for him to leave Brighton at the end of the current season, he said:

“For now he is in Brighton,” Mac Allister senior, who is also the player’s agent, told TyCSports. “It seems to me a very good thing that he has returned from the World Cup and has not despaired of leaving , enjoying success calmly and in peace, in a team that loves him very much.

“The reception he received has been for the better. He is very happy at the club.

“We all know that in July there will be chances to leave. But prior to the World Cup, Alexis renewed his contract so that the club also has the opportunity to make a big sale, so that many can reach out to Brighton. That’s the idea.”

Mac Allister has had the season of his life and honestly it will be so interesting to see where he ends up as there is so much interest in the lad.

We believe that he is ready for that next step in his career, he is ready for a Champions League club.
