The future of £30 million star addressed with Arsenal interested in transfer deal

Arsenal are interested in Leicester star Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall during the January transfer window.

But the Gunners face strong competition from Brighton, who are already in negotiations with the Foxes over a transfer this week.

The Championship leaders value the 25-year-old at £30million according to The Athletic.

talkSPORT’s Ally McCoist has been discussing the future of ARSENAL FC target Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Jeff Stelling told talkSPORT Breakfast: “A lot of talk at the moment isn’t there about Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, maybe leaving Leicester City.”

McCoist replied: “That’s a strange one. Why would Leicester let Dewsbury-Hall go?”

Stelling: “I honestly don’t know, but Brighton are amongst those who are very, very, very interested.

“And you would be because he’s a really top player. 25 years of age, just approaching his peak, he would be a great buy for someone.”

McCoist: “Absolutely, and I totally agree with that, but if you’re Leicester, there’s absolutely no way you’re selling him at this point.”

There has been so many players linked with Arsenal over the past few months – and to be honest – they have all been rubbish as no moves have been made.

This Transfer window was the perfect opportunity for the Gunners to delve into that transfer kitty and add some players that will give their Premier League title chase a real boost – and that has not happened.

Dewsbury-Hall is having a great season – but he is not the type of player that will improve the ARSENAL FC side – he is not the statement signing that Arsenal fans want to see arrive in the coming windows.

But he is certainly a player that would add some depth to the side that is for sure.
