Arsenal prepared to pay £75 million and complete signing of Brazilian star

It has been claimed again that ARSENAL are prepared to pay £42 million in order to try and sign Raphinha from Barcelona this coming January transfer window.

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

The Brazil international bid farewell to the Premier League when completing a big-money transfer from Leeds to Camp Nou in the summer of 2022, and had hoped to take that next step in his development.

He has shown glimpses of what he is capable of while in Catalunya, and has been one of the clubs most impressive players this season, but that has not stopped speculation that he is one player that the Spaniards are open to selling in the next couple of transfer windows.

Several European clubs have been closely monitoring the 28-year-old’s performances and after his recent success, a Premier League club submitted a €60 million bid for the player in the summer, according to recent reports.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are ready to offer a whopping €90 million (£75m/$95m) to secure the signature of in-form Brazilian winger Raphinha. The club had earlier shown interest in the player before he had completed his transfer from Leeds United to Catalonia.

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few windows about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But is he the type of player that Arsenal need at this stage?

ARSENAL already have so many quality wingers – so adding another one is not really on the agenda – which is why we believe the Gunners will decide to not make a move for the Brazilian unless it is for a real bargain.
