Arsenal fans to welcome new signing as defender Kurzawa ‘has agreed’ to make Emirates move
Reports have claimed Layvin Kurzawa has reportedly agreed to join Arsenal when his contract at PSG ends this summer.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been dropping transfer hints since his move to the Emirates as Gunners fans were hoping that the Spaniard would be backed during this transfer window and given the funds to help improve the side in key areas of the pitch.
And that has led to some shock speculation in the media over the past few days which have suggested that Arsenal are closing in on a transfer deal for PSG star Kurzawa, who is seemingly all set to depart the French club after failing to agree a new contract
And despite interest from La Liga and Seria A, according to FranceFootball, Kurzawa has chosen that he wants to make the move to the Premier League and the Emirates, and will join in the summer.
It comes after PSG boss Tuchel has put Kurzawa’s future in doubt, he said: “We need Layvin. I have not spoken with him about a departure, nor anybody else.
“We have Juan [Bernat] starting on the left and Layvin behind him. Layvin has played well recently, trained well and it is up to him to show what he can do.
“If he is healthy, he will play against Lorient, he is an important player in this position.”
Look, ARSENALfans knew this was coming, a lot of speculation and rumours but no end product, even though the club are lacking in quality all over the pitch, they needed to get so business done this month.
But if they do go out and manage to land Kurzawa on a free deal for the summer, he would be a fantastic bit of business by the club as he is one of the top left-backs in Europe. They just need to pull their finger out their arses and offer him a deal that he simply cannot refuse.
But they also need to get some deals done this month or they may struggle to get back inside the top six this season, nevermind the top four.
