Reports have claimed that Martin Odegaard has passed his medical ahead of a return to Arsenal

After making that shock move to the Emirates during the last January transfer window, Odegaard made a big impression on the fans, the club and most importantly, Mikel Arteta.

The Spanish boss knew that he needed to add a bit more creativity to the squad and made sure that Arsenal were the club that would complete a loan move for the young man

However, despite all the reports that he wanted to stay at the Bernabeu, according to the latest reports, Odegaard has chosen to leave the La Liga giants and was keen on a move back to the Emirates

And according to the website, the midfielder has now passed his medical and will make a move to the Emirates in a deal that will cost the Gunners a reported £30 million

Arsenal are hopeful that Odegaard will be available on Sunday when Mikel Arteta’s side host Chelsea.

He has proven himself in the Premier League, so if the reports are true, surely Arsenal fans would be delighted to see him make that move back to the Emirates. So many fans will be hoping that this deal will be done before the weekend

The lad has some serious potential and is a player that will surely develop into a big time player, it is some great business to get Odegaard for just £30 million as he is a player that they can make some money on in the future
