Bruce recently opened up and admitted that he is hoping to keep hold of the attacker in the summer.
“We would love to keep him here,” Bruce told reporters on Goal when asked about Willock’s future. “He is the type of player you’d love to build your club around.
“Whether we can or not I’m not quite sure.”
Should the Toon keep Willock?
Willock has played a big part in helping Newcastle pull away from from that relegation zone, but for the majority of the time he has spent at the club, he has not been that impressive has he?
He is a god player to have in the squad, but he is not a player that the Toon should spend £20-25 million on trying to sign.
