Ten-goal hitman Aubameyang has Arsenal warning for Man United and Premier league

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has warned Manchester United his best form is just around the corner.

Aubameyang has had a difficult start to the new season after making such an impact when he arrived last season, and this year he has had to share the front-line with French striker Alexandre Lacazette, who has rediscovered his form at the Emirates under the guidance of Emery.

But Aubameyang has found his feet once again over the past few weeks and his two goals in the 4-2 spanking of Tottenham at the weekend now makes him the 29-year-old’s brace against Spurs saw him become the outright top goalscorer in the Premier League this season with ten goals.

However, he has sent a huge warning to the Premier League after telling Gunners fans that he is not playing at his very best just yet, and the best is yet to come.

Aubameyang said on the Sky Sports website: ‘I think I’m not at my 100 per cent, but it is coming. It’s coming.

‘Against Tottenham, I felt very good on the pitch and I am really happy. But my best form is coming.’

‘I hope I’m at the same level [as Kane, Aguero and Salah] and I think so, yes. ‘It’s early in the season. We have good strikers in the Premier League, so it will be tough [to finish as top scorer].

‘But I’m happy we won yesterday. The most important thing is the team. It’s the best league in the world so it’s a great challenge for me.’

Can Aubameyang become the Premier League’s top goal-scorer?

Aubameyang is a world class striker that has the full backing of Emery and a number of attackers to take the pressure off him to score the goals the club need to keep on collecting the points, so if he carries on this great form then he could help Arsenal do more than get back into a top four spot.
