Arsenal encouraged to complete deal for ‘devastating’ Premier League star

Reporter Iomie Stanley has backed Arsenal to make a concrete move for Marcus Rashford if the forward becomes available.

Rashford has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season and looks nothing like the player that netted 30 goals for MAN UNITED  just a few seasons ago.

He has really struggled this season under boss Erik Ten Hag and has only managed to score 8 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils, which is not good enough for a player of his ability.

However – his contract with the club is up at the end of the season and there has been some stunning speculation that ARSENAL may be interested in a potential deal for the man.

It is no secret that Mikel Arteta is a fan of the Manchester lad and would be open to adding his pace and goal-threat to the squad should the opportunity.

Now – amid all the speculation – Stanley has opened up and claimed that he could be a welcome addition to the Gunners squad – he told IcFootballnews: “He ticks some really good boxes for Arsenal.

“On the counter attack, he can be devastating. He undone Arsenal at Old Trafford earlier this season with his speed. Rashford can be devastating on his day, we know that.

“I’m sure Arsenal would go for him if he became available next summer. “He is an international player who has played on the big stages. He just is not happy under Ten Hag.

“It would be great to have a player of his experience and versatility in that Arsenal side, and for the right money, he could be a solid addition to the squad.

Rashford is a player that MAN UNITED are reportedly ready to let go at the end of the season, along with a number of other stars. We dont know what is going on with him but he should be scoring more than he currently is.

We can see him in that ARSENAL side, but not starting on a weekly basis.
