Fiorentina’s general manager Joe Barone openly admits they are willing to sell Vlahovic to Arsenal this January

Fiorentina’s general manager Joe Barone has admitted that they are willing to let Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic leave this transfer window
Now it is no secret that Mikel Arteta needs to add a new striker to that attack of his as he does not have the squad to get back inside those Champpions League places by the end of the seasons
Fans know all the troubles that Arteta is having with his strikers, and that has led to many reports in the media that a deal for Vlahovic is the Gunners number one priority this window.
The big striker is regarded as one of the best in Europe right now and is currently the top scorer in Seria A, with his performances alerting a number of top clubs to his services
But it has been Arsenal that have been leading the chase for the player, and indications suggest that an offer from the Gunners has been submitted and they are just waiting for a response from the Italians.
Now Fiorentina’s general manager Joe Barone has admitted that they are willing to let Vlahovic leave this transfer window, but not agreement is in place.
This was the translation given by the Metro: Barone explained: ‘Some English clubs have made contact, but there is no agreement yet. We are open [to selling] but there can’t be a deal unless someone [Vlahovic] agrees.’
On the lack of communication from Vlahovic’s representatives, he added: ‘I haven’t heard anything from them. I had asked Vlahovic’s agent to be clear, but I haven’t heard anything, no contacts at all.’
