Arsenal board to give Spaniard massive deal until 2029 as ambitious move eyed!

Arsenal are preparing to offer Mikel Arteta a new contract running until 2029 in a bid to beat off the rumours that both Real Madrid could be tempted into making a move for the Arsenal boss.

News broke just a few weeks ago that Alonso would be leaving his role at the Bernabeu with immediate effect after failing to play the kind of football that the board would have liked, despite sitting second in La Liga and pretty much qualified for the next round of the Champions League.

There has been all sorts of speculation and rumours about whom the Spaniards wants as their next boss, with former Liverpool top man Jurgen Klopp the bookies favourite to replace the Spaniard should he come out of retirement.

But according to Fichajes, Real Madrid are reportedly interested in appointing ARSENAL boss Arteta as their manager and could push to secure his services during the summer.

However – according to journalist Nicolo Schira. Arsenal now want to move to fend off any future interest from Europe’s top club and offer the Spaniard a contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2029.

Arteta last signed an extension in September 2024, keeping him at the club until 2027.

There will always be interest in Mikel Arteta, he has done a great job at the Emirates and is closing in on that Premier League title, Gunners fans are loving what he has managed to achieve since taking over a few seasons ago.

If ARSENAL can match the ambitions of Arteta in the transfer market and give him what he needs, he will be at the club for the next fix years or so, we cant see him making a move away anytie soon.

We have said it before, the only club that could tempt Arteta away would be Barcelona, but that is only after he has achieved what he wants at ARSENAL.
