Arsenal ‘favourites’ to complete signing after right-back announces move could happen

Arsenal are the favourites to land Galatasaray star Sacha Boey, who revealed he could be off in the summer.

The Gunners are still sitting pretty at the top of that Premier League and are totally focusing in on bringing home that League title for the first time since 2004 – but that has not stopped all the speculation about players they could sign.

Mikel Arteta knows that he needs to keep adding to his squad – as the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea will all look to spend at the end of the season to add to their squad.

And that has led to reports on Tuttomercatoweb, which has claimed Boey has admirers across Europe but it is the Gunners who are leading the bidding war.

The right-back has added to speculation he could leave this summer by failing to rule out an exit.

Boey told L’Equipe: “There, I knew the lows, the highs. My performances are regular now.

“I think it’s time to reach a milestone but we’ll see at the end of the season depending on what happens.”

Arsenal have been doing some brilliant business over the past couple of transfer windows and have signed players that have made a real difference to the squads.

We do not know much about Boey – but if the Gunners are really interested in a potential deal – then we are sure that he will add something to the squad.

Mikel Arteta needs to add some more depth to the squad and this lad would not cost alot of money – and would give that right-back area a bit more coverage.

He would be welcomed by the fans that is for sure.
