Alan Shearer reckons Arsenal target Armando Broja has a huge future ahead of him.

The 20-year-old has been turning heads with his goal-scoring efforts while out on loan at Southampton this season, and there has been alot of speculation that he could be the ideal replacement for Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea

There has also been alot of rumours suggesting that a number of Premier League clubs are eyeing up a possible deal for the man, with reports claiming that there is now a £60 million asking price on his head

Arsenal are keen to add a new striker to that attack, Leicester are looking for a long-term replacement for Jamie Vardy, West Ham know they need to add another striker to the attack in the summer and Frank Lampard is a massive fan of the man.

And amid all the speculation, Toon legend Shearer has had his say on the future of Broja, Shearer told Premier League Productions: “Let me tell you, this lad is clinical.

“His goal against Brentford made him the youngest player in Premier League history to score in each of his first four home starts.

“As a striker it’s all about taking chances and scoring goals, so stats like this tell me that he can thrive in the Premier League.”

Broja is a special talent that has a bright future in the game, so if Arsenal are really keen to get a transfer deal done, then they need to make their moves very quickly as there is big interested in the move

A move to the Emirates would be a very smart move, as they are in dire need of adding a forward to that front line, just like him

But lets see if the Gunners board have the guts to pay the money to Chelsea
