Arsenal linked with staggering £80 million move for ideal Auba and Lacazette replacement
Arsenal have been linked with a staggering £80 million move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
It is no secret that Arsenal have been struggling in front of goal this season as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has not found the form which has made him one of the most deadly strikers in world football right now.
Alexandre Lacazette has found some form this season and has hit double figures for the Gunners, but he is constantly being linked with a move away from the club, with Atletico Madrid the club most interested in a possible transfer deal.
And that has led to reports in the media over the past few days that Arsenal are looking into the possibility of trying to secure a future deal for Calvert-Lewin, who has become one of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League.
Calvert-Lewin is in the running for the Premier League Golden Boot this season after scoring 13 goals in 20 matches and is now a full England International after his stunning start to the new season.
However, Football London believe that a move is unlikely due to the hefty fee the Toffees are likely to demand for Calvert-Lewin.
It is believed that the Merseyside giants will seek a fee of around £80 million for Calvert-Lewin, a fee that they hope will turn off Arsenal off a possible deal for the striker as they dont not like to spend that amount of money on one player.
Look, Auba and Lacazette are the wrong side of thirty and coming to a stage in their careers when it is not about the football, it is about the money. So being linked with a move for Calvert-Lewin is smart, but that fee is far too big for the club to pay.
Unless they are prepared to get this transfer deal done, we will never see him at the Emirates
