Mikel Arteta puts £100 million Frenchman top of the Arsenal shopping list after transfer request handed in

Arsenal have reportedly made signing Rennes ace Eduardo Camavinga their top priority this summer.

The Rennes midfielder, 18, is one of Europe’s hottest properties following yet another brilliant season, and there has been alot of talk that Arsenal are ready to make a move in the coming transfer window to try and get a transfer deal done.

Mikel Arteta will be looking to freshen up his squad in the transfer window and add something different to that midfield, especially as he hopes to get back into that habit of playing in the Champions League.

PSG are one of the other clubs monitoring his situation closely and believe he is the future in their midfield, and it appears his head has been turned after telling Rennes he won’t be signing a new contract.

Camavinga has just a year left on his current deal meaning the club will be forced to flog him this summer or lose him for nothing, and according to the latest reports, Rennes are prepared to play hardball having slapped a £100million price-tag on their star man

Beefing up the midfield is understood to be one of Mikel Arteta’s main priorities, and And according to reports, the 39-year-old has placed Camavinga at the top of his summer wishlist.

There is no doubt that the young man is one of the best talents in world football so he would be a brilliant signing for the likes of Arsenal should they be willing to meet his asking price to get some sort of transfer deal done.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up if he does leave the French side. But we believe he would love a move to the Emirates, if the Gunners board werent so tight with their money.

  1. 1. Arsenal don’t have that kind of money.
    2. The kid is 18, so even if Arsenal buy him, Arteta won’t play him, he prefers players over 30.

He seems the kind of player that would actually improve Arsenal’s squad, but paying 100 million for a child who has never played in the Premier League is a huge gamble. It’s like playing Russian roulette with 3 out of 6 chambers in the gun loaded.

Arsenal are all over the place, they really have zero clue. And it’s the club I support. It’s going to be a tough 10 years.
